To all Michael Nyman fans: You MUST watch the video of "Let There Be Light "... it's a song by MICHAEL NYMAN with rock noir band BELLADONNA and it's based on his music from "The Piano". Nyman himself plays piano on it... search for "nyman belladonna" here on youtube and you'll find it!! :-)

@INTROPLEASE It all reminds me of the Holocaust, them being taken down to the gas chambers, they were worked to death, enslaved and they all wore the same uniform, like the striped pyjama's (although that could be simply what I think from watching the boy in the striped pyjamas)

Where the hell was Britain in all of that!

@pax80a Actually, if you did History, you will find that the gas chambers were part of the Holocaust, which wiped out 112 million people, 6 million of them were Jews.

So they were not a myth, they were way too real

Quite a Kafkaesque depiction of an "over-industrialized" world by Fritz Lang - a theme that makes this movie immortal and magnificent.

I like this arrangement a lot, since Michael Nyman's music and repetitive style matches with the movie theme (enslavement by machines) very well.
