Well the title of the video has the word "practice" in it. I was wondering if all of you noticed that because you were all putting him down for fouling. Maybe that day he was working on getting a good kick across the circle or getting all of his power moving forward. So what if he's "fouling". Don't judge.
actually, i found that if you frequently foul in practice, your gonna go foul in the meet. yes you may throw further and get more power into the shot when you foul, but leme ask you this. If you cant throw 50 feet without flying out of the circle, can you really throw 50 feet? I fouled in practice my freshman year of college, but then began concentrating on staying in. This year, I am throwing great distances, and if anything, it is my momentum carrying me out when I foul.
I always see people at the other highschools jumping out of the ring pretty much when they throw shot but my coach has always told me it builds bad habits which I think it is, I agree with you.
he is a way better spinner

1 is over throwing which is the one and ONLY reason for a ring and toe board
the other is underthrowing which has obvious implications
I choose neither. I switch feet instead of doing the air whip that he does.
