the resolution of this video is more or less high. (0.96"xpix)
but it´s important in this ccase to process it with a sharpen filter (virtual dub) if you watch other videos I post, you will see I have same problem too sometimes...!!!

Hi, which codec are you using to compress this video before uploading it to YouTube?
I see the stars very bright and sharp in your video. In my videos stars are very fuzzy after posting in YouTube. I am looking for the trick to preserve bright and sharp star fields in my videos.
