  • ฟังตอนอยู่มัธยม แว๊กกกกๆๆ

  • เพราะมากๆฟังตั้งแต่เด็กๆอยูในหัวเลย

  • sounds so much better in chinese. The english version was a friggen FAIL

  • Sorry, but the Cantonese version owns the crap out of the Mandarin.

  • @gaozhi2007 : I'm familiar with and like the Mandarin language better than the Cantonese language; however, I do agree with you. This song just sounds much better sung in Cantonese.

  • @gaozhi2007 Yep

  • Which language was this song originally? Cantonese or Chinese? O:

  • @VivianLuux3 Cantonese is a dialect of Chinese, I think you meant Mandarin.

The song's language versions come in the order like this: 1972 (Japanese, Miyuki Nakajima, Naomi Chiaki ) / 1992 (Cantonese, Faye Wong) / 1993 (Mandarin, this song) / 1993 (English, Jessica Jay), then Thai, Vietnamese, Bermese, Turkish, etc...

  • i love both versions of this song

  • Wang Fei IMBA!!!

  • i really do hate how people try make this song to a fast song when its not -_-

  • wow, really can't think of another music video that references good art.

    she's so beautiful at 1:52 ...

  • The Cantonese Version came out first in Hong Kong , it's SO POPULAR here in HK at that moment, later on the Mandarin Version disk out but it's not much popular in Beijing bcos the young generation of China luv Pop rock music. Faye Wong was get fame in Hong Kong with this song.

  • I can't decide if I like the Cantonese or the mandarin version better, they're both really good!

  • @fanastic1124 do you know why you cant tell which version is better? Because both versions were sung by Fei Wang!

  • Hermosa cancion,,me encanta escucharla. Me trae muy bonitos recuerdos de alguien muy especial en mi vida.

  • I LoVE This VeRSIon!!!

  • Is the lyric have the same meaning as its Cantonese version?

  • no..

  • @VF5 no, the meanings of the lyrics are actually quite different.

in cantonese, it means this heart broken woman has finally met a guy who mends her broken heart tenderly.

in mandarin, it means quite the contrary. the woman is heart broken because she cannot tell whether her man loves her or not.

  • @njis3w I thought both dialectwriting is the same just pronunciation of the word are different. Sorry i don't know chinese.

  • @VF5 Actually you are right. But in this case the lyrics are completely different as @njis3w said. This is typical for Mandarin vs. Cantonese versions; because of pronunciation difference, lyrics are usually rewritten to achieve rhyming for instance.

  • my heart is broken,,,,,,,,,,,,, the song is beautiful.

  • but she is already with another person

this is the way things are in life

and he is a very good, better person than me

so, i wish not pursue her, even if i like her,

even if i realize that never i met someone as her

because i wish she will be happy, and i think

that this will be so with him

  • I dont like girls but i met one

she if good hearted, pretty and funny

so different than any person I met before

never i met someone as her in the path of my life

just seeing her made me happy

talking with her made me smile

i liked her very much since first time i talked with her

so unconsciously i wished from the bottom of my heart

that i could be able to make her happy

give to her the best part of me
