@DeeMinion November is a good time to go (as long as it's at least a week before Thanksgiving or earlier). We got the Express pass and it turned out that we didn't even really need it. Holidays (which I understand) and summer (which I don't) are bad. Never understood going to Florida when the rest of the country is melting anyway.
@mplsmn1975 Im from the UK so holidays are different, last time i came over, it was Easter holidays in the UK and there wasnt a holiday in the US so it was dead for the first week, but second week the amercians went on spring break, and you had to queue to get into the harry potter bit and every queue was packed, i dont think ill be coming back to the US anytime soon anyway, maybe in a few years

i remember when i went on this ride when i was about 6 or 7..it scared the living hell out of me, then i got to ride it again when i was 12, and it wasn't AS bad haha...but now i'm almost 16 next month, i'd love to get to ride it again, it was so awesome! i love the part where electrode jumps on top of the cart and 'shocks' it, i won't ever forget that feeling! haha :)

My family has been going to Islands of Adventure every year for the past five years. Today I had to explain to my nine year old brother that you don't actually float, get electrocuted, or plummet thousands of feet on this ride. I could see a part of his childhood breaking in his eyes.

@db0206 They are redoing the graphics. In fact, the whole ride is being updated to be a bit more 'modern' (or whatever the word was in that article).

My family has been going to Islands of Adventure every year for the past five years. Today I had to explain to my nine year old brother that you don't actually float, get electrocuted, or plummet thousands of feet on this ride. I could see a part of his childhood breaking in his eyes.

For all you fans of this ride here's some fun facts from an insider...
There is a giant shlong/falic symbol in this ride. It's the torch of the Statue of Liberty, the butt end of the torch.
The man-hole at the end of the fall says "Not an Exit" on it
At the end when the villains are hanging in the web wrappings you hear Doc Oc faintly say, "F*ck you Spiderman..."

This simulator, was By FAR the best thing I went on. 3D is so awesome and it actually feels like yr there :] highly recommended

This is so awesome, does anyone know why they are refurbishing this? The Terminator 4D show is terribleee! The Jurassic Park Discovery Kingdom could use a lot of work... but this?!?!

@inxyTrolls They are just updating the video to HD, updating the sound and what not. Not changing the actual ride itself. A lot of its already been done.
