Indians have used Urdu in their music and entertainment Industry, and if it is beautiful, it will attract a Pakistani audience. Why not? why don't they use assamese, tamil, or any other language. because the poetic brillance in the language in itself creates a culture and a way of life.... I read in an article about how Sonu Nigam and Jagjit singh were both inspired by Mehdi Hassan ( a famous poet in Pakistan)

Have you heard of Javed Akhtar, Mohammed Rafi, Dilip Kumar, Shahrukh Khan....? They all use Urdu in their music and professional work....they have nothing to do with Pakistan (except Dilip Kumar, who was born in British India but is Indian and not Pakistani). You site Mehdi Hasan's example....you know very well that India's film and music history is much much more accomplished than Pakistan's. Also, there are Assamese, Tamil movies and music.
