@ColBarnaby The Raincatcher to me always seemed more like a nobleman's hat than a pirate's hat which the tricorne seems like to me, and this one as well. It's sort of like the Scotsman's Stove Pipe v Ghastly Gibus, & Backbiter's Billycock v Modest Pile of Hat, there somewhat similar and people will want the class specific hats less.
