  • i love this type of knife

  • Is that legal in PA

  • are these legal to buy?

  • @mikethenascarfan i love when people ask stupid questions like this. how the hell is any one supose to know if this is legal for you to buy if we dont know any thing about you like age and location maybe a criminal record etc............

  • @CannabisDelux it's not s stupid question it's you semi mentally disabled interpretation of my question that made you even more confused than you already are. I asked if they were legal in general- not specific to me. I'm asking if it is actually legal to purchase a stilletto here in the u.s.- because according to new york state regulations and our goverment policies- stilletos and "switchblades" are not legal for sale, purchase, or manufacturing- nationwide.

  • @mikethenascarfan you're an idiot. of course it's legal SOMEWHERE you fucking numbskull.

  • @TheRealestEver first of all, who the fuck are you calling a numbskull you dumb mother fucking cocksucking piece of assrash shit? Your the fucking idiot who posted a nazi hello kitty on your page, not only clueing that you are a flamboyant homosexual but also an inferior piece of trash who supports a policy that the u.s. of a kicked the fuck out of 70 years back- fuck off dipshit, fuck off...

  • @mikethenascarfan i've seen Special Ed. students with higher IQ's than you, shit-for-brains. get a vocabulary and stop reusing "fuck", it kind of loses it's effect after the 10th usage in one sentence...

maybe if you didn't post a stupid fucking general question without any information; it wouldn't be so easy to point out your lack of intelligence, you fucking penile secretion. you're a fucking text book retard. LOL

  • love your tag dude.. lol

  • where did you get the swinguard?

  • stupid washington knife laws

  • wow dude switchblade, net is kinda confusing

  • where are these made?

  • @LiberalsArePigs Italy

  • Do u know where i can buy a stiletto knife in the uk???

  • are those legal..? like isnt there a rule on length and what not?

  • @monkieboi88 Depends where you live, in most states automatic knives are illegal TO CARRY, owning knives no matter what kind are fine to have in your home.

  • I have the same model but my handle scales are a bit darker. Great knife!

  • see jeff Size dose matter :D

  • can you make a vid on your favorite kriss blade knives? i'm intrested in getting one

but i don't know where to get one.

  • back of the blade has a titty is what you meant. i got the stag handle bear and son balisong, it's cool but not a serious flipper, real heavy and bulky.

  • Watched this vid and immediately ordered an 11' Frank B with snakewood.

    Thanks Jeff.

  • Just looking at the thumbnail, my first though was "That is a sexy knife"

  • that is a beautiful stiletto i am looking forward to finding one

  • oldschool. Did you ever have one of the comb ones when you were a kid? They were very popular at the swap meets when I was young. Endless fun with that.

  • Can u strop the kris blade?

  • they are cool but these slabs looks ugly .

  • Never seen that swivel bolster before. AWESOME!

  • Thumbs down for the ad before your vid... Sorry bro!

  • @jamieski1972 So you mark Jeff down because of youtube? There are ad block extensions for all browsers, use one. Idiot.

  • my first switchblade was a swing guard...i'm not too fond of them... i like the classic style like that black one...whatever they're called.

  • What type of scissors do you own? Do a review on some Gingher scissors; they are amazing cutlery!

  • "this or that darker wood."

    that's what she said.

  • arn't those illegal?

  • @longboardingchampion only in states that have gay knife laws....

  • @lazymurderer which is almost all of them

  • @47lilwill word.......check out the new york state gun law.......it states that if i'm ever in a situation that i will ever need to use my gun to defend my family and my life on my property that i cant use my gun.......and it has to be locked away in a place that i cant reach it......if i do use it (even in self defense in my house , i can still go to jail.......that shit is friken retarded

  • @lazymurderer some state laws are just ridiculous.

  • @lazymurderer

NY state has weak castle law. So in some cases using a firearm in self defense is justified. Theft of property or suspected arson if one should break into your home are two common ones... though I do wish we had Florida's gun laws.

  • @JesusFuckingChrist84 word...(^.^)

  • @lazymurderer

    ^_^

  • @JesusFuckingChrist84

    Haha. Found you.

  • @ChrisRiley93

    My turn. :D

  • i don't know if this works for the frank B switchblades but for all mine the locking mechanism is always stiff and i found that if i close the blade then lightly apply pressure and push the blade in further it gives a little extra wiggle room for the locking mechanism to push under the button just a heads up incase you wanna tray that out on one of your frank b switchblades

  • please make a special video on sharpening, you get your knives so sharp but mine are just dull as heck...

  • I love that Black Tactical Frank B in the background, thanks to your reviews Jeff I bought one of my own half a year ago and it still is with me, shows wear but the value only rises in my opinion. To anyone interested in this stiletto: trust me it's a great knife to any collection.

  • Italy is not really known for producing anything with high quality... there are some gems I guess but all in all most things they produce are overprized and cheap like a bad version of Chinese products. :D

  • @Schmidt54 Except Suits. Best suits.

  • @AnomalousChopin Ain't having a suit from Italy, only brand suit I have is from Hugo Boss (I think).

No matter what, stay away from Italian cars. ;-)

  • I dunno, all of these stilettos seem kinda unfinished to me.

For example, that black version, that locks doesn't seem reliable by any means, softer parts of your hand can and will dig into guard, pushing that lock into open position, giving you nasty nasty cuts in result.

This white version, looks better, but again, in the video you can see guard kinda flipping around. Poor engineering, poor machining.

And that blockiness gives it kinda DIY\crapknife look.

    1 of 2

  • @funky3ddy 2 of 2

Steel. No complaints here, since this mostly a self defense knife, you'll rarely use it. Just sharpen razor sharp once, put it in your pocket and you're set. But here comes reliability question, will opening mechanism work next time when you'll need that knife open in a matter of seconds?

IMO, not worth the price. Just get a Spyderco, which will open faster than any spring loaded blade, will always work, have better steel and better ergonomics.

  • knife fights arent rare i have been in like 9 or 10

  • Wood looks nice. (:

  • i miss bob

  • Beautiful!

  • so what if you live in canada how can you order one of these? i want one for show/ to collect ... but can never find out how to order them. non of those sites ship to canada. any help :(

  • @chewbarf Spring loaded knives are illegal in Canada.

  • @laxitives well i know that.... but .... idk i just wanna collect them... and its hard to find them because they are illegal... thats why i was wondering if anyone could help me find a place to get them :/

  • @chewbarf you can get a lot of illegal things like Balisong blades or switchblade Stilettos at gunshows usually often times you won't be able to get a great value because these are people who've got them imported and are then selling to you but that is one of the easiest ways to get your hands on one

  • ★★★★★

  • Can u make a sharpening vid on tanto blades

  • If u tapper stage down to much it will break if u put it threw hard use which is probaly y they left em that way

  • Spots everywhere!

  • Would you say rods are better for sharppening?

  • @KnifeCrazzzzy rods are better for polish and smoothing

  • Sweet/wicked lookin blade Man!

  • In my business about 2 1/2 years age, I disRmed a 15 year old male that had. Nine inch stiletto on him. Never seeing one before and you'll love this. He walked me through how the knife worked. I liked them at that point. Didn't know much about them. Your review taught me alot more about them. Thanks for sharing.

  • Why is it when I search for Stiletto's I come up with stripper shoes?!

  • @xdrdosx LOL!

  • @xdrdosx Type in Switchblade. More women love Stilletto shoes then men love Stilleto knives.

  • @xdrdosx Unfortunately there are more whores than knife enthusiasts!

  • who knew? :o when theres no one around jeff likes to get his camera out and video's himself playing with stiletto's

  • Great review, it brought back a hilarious memory of me and some friends sittin around playin bloody knuckles by pushin the button and crackin each other across the fingers with the spine of the blade. Yes, it was stupid, but what can I say? we were really bored. And let's face it: that was the BEST possible outcome of a bunch of bored teenagers with a switchblade.

  • Correction. not al Stilettos are made with cheep blade steel and the ones that do are over priced. A good example is the cold steel Stiletto. The 6' Stiletto from CS retails fro around 60 bucks and its made on AUS8. Just putting that out there.

  • Arnt switch blades illegal

  • @brickbuilder3 they are in certain states

  • @brickbuilder3 not everywhere

  • @brickbuilder3 not in pa

  • lighter = better.

  • Cool switch blade

  • Kris style knife...

  • Looks like a wood you could sand down Jeff (everyone calls you Jeff I do not personally know you)

  • also how do you like the AKC brand?

  • Winchester, I hate autocheck

  • Any way to make a lock back move easier, I have a hi Chester and I use it a lot but the hinge just hurts my thumb after a day. Any tips?

  • Comment removed

  • I really want that tactical 9" it looks awesome!!!

  • Tf2 big earner :o

  • @cutlerylover Have you ever had a problem getting those shipped here?

  • I may be wrong, but aren't these illegal to carry in most states?

  • You've had how many stilettos?? So... what about otfs??

  • very nice !

want to have that one also *_*

  • 45 degree angle?? lmao

  • There isn't a Kris in the title Jeff. Unsubscribing. :D

  • I didn't think size matters lol

  • Comment removed

  • very informative, great review and thanks for saying the basics, much appreciated for knife noobs like me :D

  • Whats this? a knife review? wtf

  • That guard design is very cool. Just like the reason I liked the tactical stiletto for its auto and lock mechanisms.

  • thats a swingguard man, but great review

  • @cutlerylover if the tripod is in your way, and your camera has a swivel screen, then put the camera in front of you, and then flip the video in editing to give the the same appearance

  • Lock-back is a stronger lock-design, right?

  • @Twisted4000 no. framelock is the strongest

  • @143yamaha He didn't even ask that. Also, I'm going to look up framelock batoning videos now because the only folder batoning vids I've seen are Triad lock, liner lock, and lockback.

  • @Twisted4000 Lock strength always depends on construction. A lockback and the other stiletto's mechanism look very similar in operation to me. Maybe @cutlerylover can give you his opinion. Also, "strong enough" is really what you're after. My EDC is a Byrd Raven, which has a well-made liner lock, and that works great for me.

  • me 303 view

  • cool man

  • The Tactical's blade grind is "Bayonet" not Stiletto, Stiletto refers to short, pointy, slender Dagger type weapons. Get Yourself over to sharperdealsDOTnet for the best deals mate, Its like eBay for Automatic Knives:-)

Love the vids keep up the good work!:-)

  • That's a swingguard. ;D

  • You should review one of Spyderco's automatics.

  • jeff wth! i wanted to trade you an identical knife to that stag one and you said you werent into stilletos!

  • about time you reviewed this!

  • im srry but there switch blades not staletos

  • @mudjugXdipper dude, its the same thing.

  • @lakobadmitry746 hate to be a bitch but a stiletto is a blade with both sides of the blade sharpened. (the front and the back) not all switchblades are stilettos though.

  • @mudjugXdipper Can't tell if trolling....

    Or just stupid....

  • @TheSirQueefington no your just stupid! switchblade- a krife that uses a button or lever to use a "auto-matic" action to "flip" open] stilleto- a knife made/used by the mob to preform hit and runs where the attacker puts the knife near the victims neck/head and uses a "sliding" action botton to "pop" the knife in and out of the victim usaully used for fast hit and run missions

  • @mudjugXdipper Pretty sure the term stilleto comes from the style of blade..

  • @TheSirQueefington but yes i do understand why you would think im wrong because the names are usually thrown around wrongly

  • does bladeops ship to canada
