the producers of the CBS version of the TV show should had did a sequel to this episode. The rustlers would be out of jail but would have a strong desire for revenge against Wonder Woman. The rustlers know that Wonder Woman becomes helpless when her magic belt is removed and would take advantage of her weakness and take her prisoner. Lyle Wagner would play two characters:Steve Trevor Sr., who is also captured by the rustlers, and Steve Trevor Jr., who rescues both his father and Wonder Woman.
This segment is from an episode of the ABC version of the series entitled "The Bushwhackers". Roy Rogers was the guest star;Roy Rogers wouldn't do the episode if Lynda Carter wore the regular Wonder Woman costume since he felt it was too revealing for a family oriented show, so the producers came up with this western outfit for her to wear. I'm surprised that Roy Rogers didn't object to Wonder Woman losing her Amazon powers when her magic belt is removed, which happens earlier in this episode.
@3dartistguy I think that calling Roy Rogers an asshole is a bit harsh, but it's obvious that he never read a Wonder Woman comic book or did any research on the character;if he had, he would had known that the costume that Lynda Carter wore on the TV show is the same costume that Wonder Woman wore in the comic books. He also would had known that in the comic books, Wonder Woman originally wore a skirt;imagine Roy Rogers' reaction if he had seen Lynda Carter wearing a skirt!
maybe in a tv series but not on the big screen. I love beyonce but honestly I don't think she acts well. But after Dreamgirls it does seem she's improving. And I haven't seen Obsessed but looks like she does a good job in it.
Just one thing I have never understood:Since the rustlers know that Wonder Woman loses her Amazon powers when her magic belt is removed, and they had already taken advantage of Wonder Woman's weakness earlier in the episode, why didn't the rustlers remove Wonder Woman's magic belt again during this fight scene? I guess the rustlers were taken by surprise and didn't think of that.
This must be the episode Roy Rogers was on because Wonder Woman's wearing this outfit instead of the leotard. I have to admit, they did a good job for adapting to Rogers' saying he felt her outfit was improper (which BTW, I think it's cool they respected it to, given he was a legend).
This was also the episode in which the cattle rustlers lock Wonder Woman in a jail cell and remove her magic belt so that she cannot escape;luckily for Wonder Woman, the rustlers leave the belt and lasso on the ground, and the orphans from the ranch are able to get the belt back to Wonder Woman. I guess you could say that Wonder Woman got her revenge at the end of the episode.
It would've made sense...after all, she was on a horse from time to time in this episode! Could you imagine her in the traditional costume jiggling aboot?
At the beginning of the episode, Wonder Woman did ride a horse in her traditional costume;Roy Rogers, who was the guest star in this episode, didn't want Lynda Carter wearing the tradional costume, so she wore the western outfit. Later in the episode, Wonder Woman falls off the horse and the rustlers remove her magic belt to make her powerless and lock her in the jail house. Of coarse, Wonder Woman beat up the rustlers at the end of the episode.
That was cheesy... And the way she pushes him with the trash can on his head... Dumb!

@Girardifan Perhaps Robert Fuller would've been a special guest star.

And here I was thinking I like this costume for her. It's a much cleaner design.

This could have been great, but unfortunatly your editing made it terrible. Next time you should just do the whole scene.
