With all these double tracks, and backing singers, doesn't it really take away from the meaning of the song? Isn't the power Neil's lonely tenor almost tearing apart the power of this song? I love this version. I love the Feels Like Home album! I wish Linda Ronstadt would record another pop/rock album with the emphasis on rock. While she's at it, how about another Trio album with Dolly and Emmylou too?
Didn't Linda sing backup for Neil on some songs? Along with Emmy Lou? I think it was on American Stars and Bars
