@dimondlex He, he. Maybe someday I’ll be more coherent. And thanks! Some say I sound like a cartoon. I’m actually considering doing a video where I just play with the various nuances of my voice since it receives so much attention!
@adamlhumphreys Man i have a problem with the extrude inner, the faces extrude independently, I can't make them extrude to de center of the poly, they extrude to the center of each face. What am I doing wrong?
@AMagicWizard Thank you! I’ve been playing w/ C4D since 2004. Found several tuts & files that were a bit helpful, but simply using it and doing something is what really helped. All it’s use has been personal, but I’m hoping to use it in the professional realm within a year (get my UTD sheepskin). I know C4D is big in the advertising industry, but I’m not big into MoGraph. I prefer animations. Maybe I’ll have time to do a short of my own some day. alh.artspots.com/image/50100/sword-sharpening
@ADIDACOD In order to see these tools when you right-click, must be in Polygons, Edges, or Points mode, accessed from the buttons on the left side. Check out my video “Cinema 4D Basics 06 - Selection Modes 01” for details.
Hey man! thanks, this really helped, i'm just starting to learn this program myself, for a professional and personal interest...
I was wondering, is there an option to join extruded objects together to make one object? or is it just the case of overlapping them a bit and then grouping into a null object? Because on the render it wouldn't make a difference.
But i can see that being more useful if i wanted to cut a strange shape, i created using a spline, through an object.
What you’d do is use a Boole object and/or the Connect command. Watch my video "Cinema 4D Basics 16 - Array, Symmetry, Boole, Connect, Instance and Construction Plane," at 3:37 to 6:40 [watch?v=0lnlLhkmz3s].
@SeizuRexx In the timeline, right below the viewport, on the right-hand side, you’ll see 3 round red buttons. The one with the key will record a keyframe. You can also record an attribute with a circle next to it by Ctrl+Clicking the circle. To gain more control, bring up the Timeline window by going to Window → Timeline. You could also go into the Animation layout by clicking on the Switch Layout button underneath the Undo button, in the upper left corner.
How do you edit the bevels settings after you have finished with it?

@Paparuchas Look at 2:30 to 3:30. The Extrude Inner and Matrix uses the same principles as the Extrude.

Great tutorial dude! :)
If you don't mind me asking, how did you find all of this stuff out? do you use C4D at a professional level or just for personal use?
Thanks again!
