The state has no reasonable or constitutionally permissible method to determine fertility and as such there is no requirement to prove fertility for a marriage license.

Marriage encourages the environment in which society would prefer children be created and raised, mother and father in a loving and stable home, that is why it exists. It does not prevent any less ideal environments.

true but as i said i personally know of 7 couples with children they seem to be doing better than most... shouldn't they study the families and how the children are doing before they cast the judgment that being in a man/woman relationship is better?

I know of a child who is now a adult who grew up in a Lesbian household - she hates her mother says it was a totally sick & dysfunctional environment and she is totally screwed up over it today.
Children raised in Homosexuas households are made fun of - bullied and descrimiated against by other children who have normal upbringings with a Mother and a Father. It is pure selfishness to raise an innocent child like this. Two homos are more concerned about themselves than the children -

i have studies i conducted my self that say the exact opposite, all of the children in the gay families i know of are actually quite popular and have a lot of friends, i am not saying every gay couple is as functional as the ones i am watching but it seems odd that you can only come up with one that is upset about it, and i have seven that say they love having gay parents and there are thousands that say they hate their straight parents

It will sever the link between the institution and the purpose society created it for. The institution will then be without a societal purpose and no institution without purpose long survives.

no i am not a child expert but i do study humans constantly i have an issue with it actually... anyway the institutions social purpose will continue to be there, there is not a single reason i can think of as to why it would stop existing... and the purpose of the institution it to link two people together in kinship more so than it is to procreate, as i stated before it is not needed to procreate it is just recommended

There is not a law in any state of the union that denies a person the ability to marry on the basis of their sexual orientation. Not a single one.
So what? As long as it is serving a legitimate secular state interest, it matters not if you believe it is somehow Christian based. It is arguable that the laws against murder and theft are based on the 10 Commandments, again so what?

Yes, marriage is between a man and a woman in 45 states. There is no prohibition however on either or both of those two people being homosexual.
So, now I am confused. Have you explained why your belief that the man/woman requirement is Christian based (an historically inaccurate assumption but...) is relevant?

those have no reasoning here, people that are related can easily get married, i know a brother and sister couple that are legally wed people can marry multiple times they just have to divorce first, obviously if they don't want to there is no one that will force them and kids are allowed to marry with there parents consult unless they ave changed that
