  • dude!! I have an Q9550 also the Rampage Formula I want to OC the 9550 just a little more, now is at 3.8 Ghz 24/7 I want to go higher like u 4 Ghz , can u please post your Bios settings ? I try so many times but it is difficult to make it stable, so if u put all your settings it will be very helpful, thanks in advance

  • love the rig

  • Awesome case- Love the white tubing and case+ the white led's. Now all you need is a couple of corsair f60 drives :)

  • At what level is your MCP655 in this video?it sounds very quiet. How did you mount it?did you use any anti vibration material?

  • @Stavrulezz its at the max setting and is sitting on the DVD drive with the anti-vibration pad sandwiched between them

  • @j3llyf1sh where did you buy the black nozzels?

  • @MJBDC07 what black nozzles would they be?

  • @j3llyf1sh sorry i mean the black fittings you connect the tubing to, forgot what they're called.

  • @MJBDC07 i used standard barbs that you can get anywhere

  • hi i have an MSI P45 motherboard and i'm having problems overclocking my Q9550 E0 cpu. i currently have it to 3.4ghz but its kind of bottlenecking my 5870.. so i really want it running at 4ghz. please help.

  • @nawaz2kx google. com

  • Hey j3llyf1sh, Im updating my rig (comes today) new case another 5850 for crossfire and a Intel X25-M Mainstream 80GB and mouse... But my question... is water cooling is worth it from something like a corsair h50-1? what kinda temps do you get?

  • @mtxgamer the corsair H50 is good for mild overclocking. a custom loop lets you pick all the parts, so it will be much better for extreme overclocking and multiple blocks.

  • @j3llyf1sh mild OC lol. i have my H50 on a 4.2ghz 1.52v 965 and my temps never hit 55c.

  • Wow.

Only the parts for water cooling, how much did is cost you? I'm interessted in building more on my rig :) Did some mods on the case fans to white, and I guess having the water cooling setup in my PC would be awesome :D

Feel free to check it out if you have time =)

    5*

  • @1Crysis16 £300 or so but that may include shipping. had to get some parts shipped from EK directly and they are in Slovenia

  • How much it cost you to build in totality?

  • @Nzaonline blimey. i havent calculated it, but i guess its a lot ;)

  • sweet rig man!

im in middle of mounting my rad (pa120.3 like you) in 800D also, however i didnt realize the holes on top of case dont line up with the radiator...

so how did you do it? cut extra holes or what?

    cheers

    Welshman

  • @welshman123456789 my thermochill has the 15mm spacings so fits perfectly. yours must be an older one

  • Thsnka 4 vid..

i want ask the model of your Liquid Cooling system and what you feal about it ?

    thanks REGARDS

  • @lovechildgirl its a custom kit. all the parts are listed and it performs very well

  • Thanks for your reply ...

    have a good day

  • @lovechildgirl no problem. you too :)

  • one on the best builds

that dye from the water cooling is just too good :D

what water cooling system u got?

and what do u think of the swiftech h20 220 ?

  • @nazzzz94 thanks. its a custom kit. not sure what the latest swiftech kit comes with, but it will be great for a CPU loop

  • Get some liquid cooling on that GFX ASAP!!

It looks just awful with that orange/red in the middle of everything.

  • looks alright i guess.

nah man just kidding it looks awsome.

  • do u know the cpu, nb & mosfet temps before and after the water cooling ?

  • NB was 50-60C before. Now ~35C. Mosfets are now about 33C. i'll get back to you about the CPU. cant remember the temps before hand

  • Thanks !, just curious to see how much of a temperature gain there was with the components water cooled vs. air cooled

  • aww thats sick, did you mean negative 35 C Look at my rig on my channel, be sure to click the link in the description

  • @MultiIPwnage no i meant approximately 35C

  • The rad has to have G3/8" Fittings, right?

  • yes the thermochill does

  • @j3llyf1sh Unless you use the reducer 3/8 to 1/4

  • im not gunna lie i cumed as soon as i need the case and the 5870...

  • Isn't there a Screw that will go through the case through the fan and into the Radiator?

  • probably, but i dont have any

  • So how many screws did you use together on mounting the Radiator?

  • 24.

  • There are only 12 mounting holes on the fan so how can there be 24?

    Soz, i'm a n00b as you can tell :P

  • they are open corner fans and so can support 8 screws each

  • HOLY SHIT! YOU SHOULD OF TOLD ME THAT AT THE BEGGINING :( I SO GET IT NOW!

    thanks

  • lol. no problem

  • Did the Radiator come with the Mounting Screws for the Fans and Rad to be mounted in the 800d?

  • it came with screws to mount the fans to the radiator only. the case came with screws to mount the fans to the case

  • So how did you mount it? As in which screws did you use?

  • fans mounted to the radiator and then the fans+rad mounted to the case using fan screws

  • if i buy m4 screws will those go through the top of the 800d through the fans and into the Rad?

  • i have no idea

  • So the screws holding the rad are done diagonally? And the rest are holding the fans?

  • don't know what you mean, but there are 12 screws holding the fans to the rad and 12 screws holding the fans to the case

  • OH I GET IT! Sorry for so many questions XD

  • haha no problem :)

  • Actually, no, I don't get it :( Do uoi know any vids that can help me?

  • that's strange a pump is leveled up with the reservoir...as I was told a pump should be the lowest part due to better gravity pull

  • preferably yes, however it isnt a necessity

  • i wanted to overclock my 4890 but i dont know how to change the voltage, i went in the bios for the vcore but it wont let me change that and iv tried gpu tools that wont either. what do you sugjest? nice pc btw lookin goood

  • dont think you can change the voltage on the 4890, although i think Asus offered a tool with their 4890s. thanks

  • finally a system update. looks awesome !, kind of wish u can clear tubing to see the coolant but it looks great, nice work mate

  • cheers, i was gonna go for more tygon but i prefer this white tubing now. and its a hell of a lot cheaper too :D

  • yea, ive looked into water cooling for my i7 pc later on in the year... tygon tubing is a little more expensive compared to some others, looks cool though

  • Nice, took a while to get the video up lol.

    Thanks mate nice build.

  • thanks

  • It's looking great man pretty massive case and i like what you have done with the water cooling,

  • yup its enormous. i like it too :D

  • Finally the upgrade.

  • yep finally done, only to be repeated at some point in the future lol
