    Beautiful video!

  • music is so awesome... some really cool views and awesome graphics

  • Wow,ooks so real

  • A good Production. I like it

  • how do you move around like that?

  • Awesome vid dude!

  • i didnt think that gliders landed on tarmac/asphalt runways because of the wing tip damage that was caused, good video anyway :) glad to see it didnt do mach 3 on landing :-)

  • @BringEllisTheHoriZon yes that is correct, but i was showcasing the video, wasn't thinking of real life terms hehe.

i'll be making a video of this glider at a nice airport soon.

  • @ImpulsivePlay3r its still one of your more realistic videos :)

i might take up gliding in a few years when i have the money and my PPL

  • @BringEllisTheHoriZon

Gliders will quite happily land on tarmac or asphalt surfaces because the wings does not tend to toughdown until the glider reaches a very slow speed. :)

  • @Fs2004Channel oh fair enough, ive just never seen any videos of them landing on tarmac or asphalt or in real life lol but if i had a glider i would only land it on grass runways xD

  • @BringEllisTheHoriZon Every sailplane I've seen and flown, from the pig (2-33) to a 50:1 LS-8 back home, have little wheels or skids on the tips to prevent scratching and damage. Although you still want to be careful.

  • @ysflightman ive never seen a glider with wheels on the wings, thats why i said it :)

  • @BringEllisTheHoriZon Well they aren't ungodly huge. They are usually only an inch or two in diameter and tucked away into the wing-tip so only a wee bit is exposed. Perhaps this is why you haven't see them? I know they exist, when I'm not flying on weekends, I'm wing running, so I know they are there. :)

  • @ysflightman they wont be on all models, but i dont do gliding yet so i dont know much

  • @BringEllisTheHoriZon in France sometimes we land on asphalt runways ....
