She's been overturned 3 times. The SC has heard appeals 6 times. One of those hasn't been ruled on yet (Ricci). The typical SC overturn rate is 65-75%, so Sotomayor does better than her peers. She's written over 300 opinions in her career, so in reality her reversal rate is less than 1%

And merely being overturned doesn't make a judge good or bad. 100% of Scalia and Alito's opinions appealed to the SC were overturned!

Being an Ivy League grad really doesn't say much anymore. Afterall, our last 4 (incl. current) presidents were Ivy League grads and each has made severe, costly mistakes based on ideology ingrained into them at Ivy League schools.
