The early part of the video makes me think that Simon is being quite restrained and not riding as he would normally and is very aware that he is being assessed. Trying to persuade someone to ride as they normally would is nigh-on impossible!
The other thing that stands out, in the second part, is how often you tell him not to look at his front wheel! I find this can be one of the hardest things to get across, especially without the benefit of radio. Simon is obviously "getting it" by the end.
On the first debrief he admiited the ride was a mixture of him and some inoput from my DVD's and pre course information. Usually he was a qucik in straight line and then plan for one only......
Hence me harping on about the world beyond the front wheel... It did work as he started to looked further than ever before and PLAN his ride. Overall top speed less, BUT Over PROGRESS quicker.
i can only do so much in a day, so have to concentrate on the weaker areas of the ride. The client was debriefed after the day and was aware of what to work on next.
the videos do my eyes in WHY do you keep having stop frames?

Nice one Nigel, up to your usual standard. He was well improved the second half of vid. It takes time to learn how to do it correctly.

Excellent work as usual, it takes time for it all to come together.
Nice stretch of road by Nant Y Garth, I'm sure he was glad it was dry!

Taking you up on the challenge of whats wrong (typing as i watch)
1. Rider not using the flexability of the motorcycle to get the limit point as far away as possible.
2. Bend assesment, stuck in the middle of the lane
3. he seems to be target fixated with the car in front
I'm entering this before i watch the commentry section after the debrief
