@notessimodude Absolutely, though it's a pity about it being in development hell (at least that's what I've heard). However if the movie's cancelled, I think Gears of War could at least be a tv series, or maybe a tv movie, or a comic book, or maybe even a radio series, so long as the non gaming people get to see (or hear) Gears of War in some way other than watching someone playing it, I will be happy.

@silver6kraid Yeah, for beat RAAM in insane the best is to play in co-op with a friend, who has the torque bow and you the longshot, headshots and perfect reloads

@Edralion I did play it with a friend, and yeah, we eventually got him after hours of trying. Funny thing was it was a total fluke, Raam got glitched in one spot and we just wore him down. I say we got really lucky.

notessimodude..exactly.. From day 1 when I saw the armour designs and got the '80s sci-fi action vibe from playing it I knew it was a great candidate. However I think we might be in the wrong time for that. We are in the PC age where no-one can offend anyone and action heroes are weak, pussified and unimpressive. If this was 1987 we'd probably get a fantastic Gears film with the right director..

I love how the start of this fits in with the cutscene. The very beginning of the song plays as Marcus looks at Dom over RAAM's corpse and they just nod and get to work. Very dynamic.

the second half of the song just really hits you as the kind of anthem of the last heroic stand against impossible odds. It's really powerful--I know I'm sounding like everyone else in comparing it to Halo 3, but its equal is the theme during the last part as you're escaping the ark. Pretty much that sound of the strings kicking in just adds to the feeling of an old-school war movie montage.

well, i think gears of war actually gets that violent epic feeling where battles are rlly intense n' stuff. The battles in halo are good too, but there's no cover-fire system however, but games nowadays seem to have gotten that though xD

Well, the soundtracks in halo are more... i dunno, sorta like an adventure or something, or excitement. while gears has a lot darker theme to it.

obviously because they know halo has a good soundtrack otherwise they wouldn;t mention it.

Gears is a great game with a great soundtrack.

But Halo's soundtrack has WAYYY more soul and impact.

and this is my honest opinion so please respect it, its not like im dissing gears of war, because im getting gears of war 2 and its going to beat halo 3. Not soundtrack of course ;P
