@MikehMike01 Actually they are. As are all other hard rock, metal bands in essence. The rock 'n roll of the fifties was just a marketing name for the sped-up version of blues, which, played with lots of fuzz/distortion led to bands like Blue Cheer, Humble Pie, Zeppelin, the Yardbirds introducing hard rock into the world. Then, adding some powerchords to the formula (as full neck chords became obsolete with distortion) some douchebag called it "heavy metal". Different name, same game.
