My question is how in the world were you able to remove the "case" without harming the display? My gut tell me the "monitor" part had t have been separated somehow, because you had it doused in soapy water TWICE during the process. Does the whole thing come off at the same time? and if so, how would you get the electronics plugged back in after the paint was dry?

Nicely done, however I'm not big into superman stuff; I would probably paint mine black with a green Monster energy drink logo on it, if I were to do it. That's what I did to my xbox, except I made a cut out of tho logo, and put green LED's inside it.

How do you get that "shine"? do you use 1 color as base and the just blue? Or some kind of lack over the whole thing?

you use clear coat for that "shine"

Going from the video, it looks that Janavar used some plastic-safe primer, followed by several coats of flat blue. Then he applied his "sticker". After that, I think he applied several layers of a glossy clearcoat. That will seal the sticker from fading and damage, as well as blending the edges and giving everything a nice glossy shine.

-Primer coat x 3

- Blue color coat x 3

-I created sticker

- Clear coat x 2 (glossy varnish)
