Wonderfully beautiful teshuva/repentance video; well done. The song and the psalm are great together. After all these years, Psalm 51 is still the very best "sinner's prayer" of all.

I just made a new playlist called Teshuva/Repentance, and there are only 2 videos in it, "ARE YOU ADJUSTING TO THE DARKNESS??" followed by this one, "Psalm 51". I'm going to play them as much as I need to for as long as I need to whenever I'm prompted by the Holy Spirit to do so. We all need an accountability partner, and if someone reading this doesn't have one, please pray that the Father will bless you with one. It's so worth it.

I was particularly moved on the night I made this video. This is one of my favorite Psalms, because it's as if my very soul has felt its meaning....and the desire for God not to let me go...not that He would :) Just that feeling of begging God for forgiveness. And it's true, we all need accountability.

Intresting, this Psalm clearly states that God does not need sacrifice to forgive sin...so why did we need Jesus?

It is talking about religious ritual...God does not rejoice over legalistic practices. He states that "to obey is better than to sacrifice" referring to strict religious practices (sacrifices) that are not genuine and have nothing to do with matters of the heart.
