My boxer is three years old and she has always had a long tail. And she hasn´t break it. It´s more natural for them to have the long tail, if it´s docked it also affects their communication with other dogs. So it is better to keep it long.:) btw, sooooo adorable. <3

:T why was it's tail not docked? I've always had boxers my whole life and it's weird to see one with a tail that long. My understanding is that their tails were originally docked for show, however many vets/the ones I've spoken to, now say that boxers need to have their tails docked for safety. Apparently when they're puppies it doesn't hurt that much, and if they grow up with a long tail they could break them. As we all know boxers have an insane amount of energy.
