  • awesome

  • I thought this was going to be awful when i saw the title - I think its brilliant!!! Loved the film, thought this was incredibly well put together. Seriously good film making featuring 2 of my most favourite things: Robin Hood and lego :)

  • very good job! i know u must take many many pictures!

  • The real test would be trying to convey the agressive, compressed duel in 'The Mark of Zorro' between Power and Rathbone.

  • I like how you addressed the continuity error with Rathbone's sword changing location at 24 seconds in. How long did this animation take to film?

  • The audio could be a bit louder, but otherwise - excellent.

  • Bravo!

In the good old days they didn't need blood and flashy special effects,

it was all about the storyline. The scene where Will Scarlet plays lute, for example. Obviously he's not playing. Very hokey. But, so what - it still told the story.

  • that totally made my day- I love that movie!

  • Hilarious. Thanks.

  • super awesome.

  • nice one

  • very cleverly dun

  • hahaha..mini epic ...nice one

  • i like how you made this video sound was a little low for me but overall i think your good at these with the way you do things .

  • nice.

  • Too Funny :)

  • What do you find funny about it?

  • I love that movie and seeing it redone with Lego characters is fun :)

Great job re-making that scene so closely to the original... it must have taken a lot of time and patience.

  • com on!

no killing or slicin anyone or no blood but to make cooler vids ok

    thumbs up

  • there is killing! (Gisbourne) if you noticed..

  • This is cool!

  • haha, brilliant! loved it.

    :)

  • Thanks dude!

  • i love this video. how did you get the exact pieces for the caracters? oh...and about the fall. hilarious.

  • Poor Guy og Gisbourne :-(

  • Holy crap erlend246, that was brilliant! I can't believe my eyes at how well you re-enacted that scene with LEGO of all things!

:-D The only thing that was a wee bit distracting was that the sound went off in a few places -- but hey, I think I can let that pass! ;-) A great tribute to a great film.

  • Thank you very much! I know about the sound...sorry, i will maybe post it again with music only and better sound:-). The adventures of robin hood really is a great film!

  • You're welcome! :-) This is one of my all-time favourite films, and it must have taken you a lot of work to match the scene frame-by-frame like this! If you do end up re-doing the sound, I would keep the dialogue in there along with the great music from Korngold, but of course it's up to you! :-)

  • ooh awesome man btw the candle was falling down from the wall! lol. also, i have ordered some lego sets and as soon as i get them i will start filming my new lego adventure wich will contain two swordfights, and lots of action and everyones favourite villain, Sam Sinister! :) ~Ed

  • I can NOT wait!!!

  • neither can i!

  • WOW! It's just great! I like it! Lego Castle?

  • THANK YOU! I't is some castle and some other stuff, i made pretty many sets, but it is only stuff i have made myself.

  • Get stop motion action!!!
