I love this vid! I've been subbing you for forever but i never stopped to ask this question... How exactly did you style your hair in this vid? When i watched this vid a lonnnnng time ago it didnt matter to me because i was straightening my hair like it was going out of style lol. I did a big chop so that I may have my curls back and now I'm revisting some old vids for when my hair gets longer! Please let me know what you did :)) btw I just ADORE your channel

I tried the diffusing method and it gave me a total afro lol. The funny thing is it made my curls super tight XD..I kept stretching them as I let them dry and it just didn't work for me : \ lol. My curls are like 2 inches below my ears but when I did the diffusing method, my hair barely even touched my ears LOL..& my curl pattern is like a 3b/c! I'm going to try it again as my hair gets longer..and when I get that nozzle thing! I had the cup but not the nozzle. I guess it makes a difference XD!

It is great to be able to get suggestions on how to work with naturally curly hair.

I just recently started using a diffuser just the past couple of days because it has been so cold this winter in California. I do notice that the diffuser works better because like you said, it lengthens the curls. I like the loose curl look. I normally let my hair dry naturally sometimes the back does not curl well it looks bushy.

I am so lazy when it comes to defusing. I run the dryer for like 2 minutes, then I'm just throw my dryer down lol. I love the end results it gives though and it's worth the process...which really isn't that bad...I'm just impatient lol

This helped out so much! I used to try to diffuse by not keeping it still..i kinda just went all over my head, which caused frizz..but i did what u said by holding it in sections for 30 sec and my hair came out sooo nice (i used catwalk curls rock & coconut oil)..the best in a long time! Thanks for the update/tips Taren! I bought a blowdryer/diffuser after I saw your 1st video on blowdrying and I love it! I don't have to go out with wet hair anymore and no more shrinkage issues. My hair is shoulder length with primarily 3c curls and I blow dry on the cool shot setting. It takes about 10 minutes to dry my hair 85% because I think my hair looks shinier (is that a word? lol) when I don't dry it 100%
