  • El Sax suena muy bien!!!

  • the drum supper sick .

  • ugh, DW Drums.. Love sax player :)

  • It sounds bad!!!!

  • @kipppur4 lol! yeah didn't go too well..

  • i like the drum set .

  • Hii Guyss, God bless you all.!! it sounds good!!! Alita Goodman.

  • This was pretty much a random song to have played...no practice whatsoever so enough with the hate..

  • so bad!! ungly sotoooooooooop

  • very nice

  • heeeyyy a ese bajista lo conozco... yo lo he visto... he tocado con el... ese man toca super... jajajaja un saludo al viejo jonny desde colombia, se le quiere y se le recuerda...

  • is kool idk wats wrong with the bass, but everyone is lost. but good job keep it up

  • what's goin' on with the bassplayer.???

not even close....not even the real keys!!

  • The bass player is playing some really interesting and exciting riffs with the foundation laid down solid. The audio quality of the point-&-shoot camera is probably the problem, but if it was identical to the original, it wouldn't be unique and different in a cool way like this is. If it was the same you'd say it was copy-cat - this is a great creative version. Where's your musical ear and understanding of music?

  • lol thanks..this video doesn't do us justice...i'll have to put more up with everyone on something that was actually practiced through

  • We want more video with your group playing. It's been 4 months now. Where are the other videos of you guys?

  • I think you're the only one hearing that lack of tuning. When things aren't recorded with quality mics and equipment most of the videos posted sound like this ... even from professional concerts. This isn't DVD quality stuff that 99% of people post here. The bass player's skills are very good and I'm sure that in person, they are all in tune with each other. Do you guys have any other videos of our playing together? Please post them & use a better mic setup so we can hear everyone.

  • Nice Latin flavor with the percussion. Excellent interrelationship of the musicians. Looks like you all have played with each other for awhile - smooth, relaxed, enjoying each other's contributions and additions. Not quite the melody of the Israel tune, but a nice insight to the chord changes and the melody of the saxophone puts a new look on those changes making it exciting. It was nice to see that even tho it was not a serious session, no one tried to steal the show - that's musicians

  • Despite poor audio of the camera, you guys sound incredible! Looks like this was done after the main event. If that's just messing around on an improv, love to hear what you sound like really playing. Awesome I bet. I've been playing sax for 5 years and want sound like that. What's his set-up? Can let me know what his brand/model, mouthpiece/reed and gear is? That tenor sounds insane! What about that alto? Same info if you have it and any clips of him on alto? Killer sound, man. Post more.

  • I'm the sax player. Thanks, but I give the credit & glory to God for blessing me with the talent He gave me to praise Him. I play Yamaha Custom 875 (silver plated) tenor and alto saxes. Shure 57 mic, a plexi-glass 'sound mirror' I made, and my mouthpiece set up for tenor is a Berg Larsen 105/2 SMS or 120/0 M, Berg ligature, Rico Plasticover reeds. On alto I use a vintage Dukoff hard rubber M8 (good luck finding one) or metal L.A. Saxtech 10, modified Rovner ligature, Rico Plasticover reeds.

  • I just recently added Vandoren Jumbo Java (A55) to my mouthpiece collection and am amazed by this piece's sound, easy response, intonation, and controlability. I use a stock metal Yamaha ligature on it with Rico Plasticover reeds, and really like the sound.

I've either tried or own Beechler (metal and Diamond Inlay), Dukoff metal, Otto Link, Meyer, Peter Ponzol (M1, M2, M2000), Yanigasawa, SR Technologies, Brilhart, Selmer, Rousseau, and several others, but this Vandoren Jumbo Java is a keeper

  • good stuff!

  • awesome jam guys! ya'll def remind me of my church with the Israel Houghton style and all the equitment, dw's all the percussion, avioms, and you name it...ya'll are good praise the lord for your ministry

  • Hey whats that on the Sax players mic stand is that a funnel?

  • its just a piece of plexiglass that he cut out himself..works well..makes a big difference

  • He made that? Cool. I've seen those for sale for about $25. They're sound reflectors. They reflect the sound from wind/brass instruments back to the player. I saw a trumpet player use one so he could hear himself. It's like an acoustic monitor. It is also supposed to block sound coming from the monitors from going back into the mic and making feed-back.

  • sounds just like an organist... lol

  • what no one on the organ?????

  • wow, you're right..lol organist left long before they recorded this video..this was a while after the service was over..
