Randy Pausch is truly one of the most inspiring people I've ever watched-- along with Morrie Schwartz. And I truly wish I had gotten to know them. I'm actually using both of them as examples in my speech for my Forensics competition and I had decided that I will be using this Commencement speech as another entry for the same competition. i was part of that graduating class, and it really was an incredible moment - you could feel the energy and love in the stadium that day. this speech still has a huge impact every time i hear it.

Because pancreatic cancer has so few symptoms, at the time of his diagnosis, the cancerous cells had metatstatized to his liver and he had a total of ten tumors there. Because pancreatic cancer has so few symptoms, at the time of his diagnosis, the cancerous cells had metatstatized to his liver and he had a total of ten tumors there. Although attitude may prolong life (which is why Randy lived longer than expected), in the long run, death is inevitable, especially with pancreatic cancer. I was wondering how you would cure someting like that.
