  • i bet all the women picked mothers day just because it's a womans day, lol, that question was pretty easy if you ask me, i picked christmas cause it's the obvious, everyone celebrates christmas, some don't but that people that do give at least two or three cards because some people have big familys, as for mothers day, well it applies the same as to valentines day, not everyone celebrates mothers day cause some kids are abandoned by there mothers.

  • I am a woman and got the answer correct. At Christmas each person who celebrates, sends several cards out to family and friends, while each person may only send one or two mothers day cards. IMO Valentine's wasn't even in the running.

  • I've seen some 1 vs 100 episodes on GSN and the thing of it is, Bob Saget likes to stretch it out longer than needed

  • "And maybe some phone numbers because you've been very charming"

I can't help but imagine he will get some phone numbers yes, but mostly because he's a millionaire.

    Just a thought.

  • @KCzz15 He said that'd be the case if he DIDN'T win >.>

  • I bet they all picked Mother's Day

  • i dont want to sound like a smartass but i thought this answer was really obvious! maybe just cause my family gets like 20 christmas cards every year but... wow. they got this wrong really?!

  • whenever a question like this comes up on a game show everybody underestimates Christmas cards

  • Too bad he only gets half the money...

  • @AngMattAndAlan epic win for the taxman

  • i love when genuinely nice people win

  • ........I'll refrain from an obvious sexist comment...

  • The new show SUCKS!!! Bring back Saget and ditch the webcam contestants.

  • I find it abit odd that not one of those women chose christmas, Not 1? lol.... Surely 1 would have, surely!!!.. I just think maybe the show said ya know wot we have not had a winner for abit or some other tv stations making people excited so lets make sure tonight the guy wins the million, we need ratingggggggggs lol I just cant believe not one said christmas with him lol

  • The new episodes are no good without Bob Saget. 3:

  • @UzumakiSonic619 That host is sexy though.

  • Easy question... You give 1 card to your mother, but you might give 10 cards at christmas...

  • He's not in a relationship!? NOOOO! He will be after this.

  • Wow hard question

  • imagine if he used his 'trust the mob" help....

  • One thing I noticed that you definitely don't see too often in American game shows nowadays - did you see how as they were waiting for the answer after they were all eliminated, the Mob was actually holding hands, hoping for Jason to win?

  • Where's Uncle Jesse and Uncle Joey? Cut it out!

  • the trick was in the QUESTION.....what is the most card `"GIVING" holiday........Mother`s day is the most card "SELLING" holiday.....but in terms of giving cards, it is xmas, because people buy BOXES of cards, plus, don`t forget about people who make their own cards. All 15 women, BTW, all chose MOTHER`S DAY.

  • @SlurpeeTigger how do you know all chose mother's day?

  • Notice this is according to hallmark. I dunno about you guys, but I prefer to make my cards on Valentines Day and Mother's Day, but not on Christmas.

  • haha bob saget

  • he had no family to run on the stage && hug. o_O

  • Too bad it never went to 1 vs. 1

    That woulda been fuckin intense

  • If they made this an xbox live game again and made you pay, i would really consider buying it, 1 vs 100 is an awesome show

  • the easiest question ever is "who is winnie the pooh's best friend?"

  • Despite the whole "Battle of the Sexes" theme, this guy was a complete gentleman. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

  • Valentines day - what day is it ? I dont give a damn, I dont know anyone that celebrates it with something special... Usually that is personal celebration.

Mother's day - people usually buy postcards for their mothers - yea RIGHT!... I give my mom a flower

Christmas is something huge... in american folklor it should be named - CARD GIVE AWAY day :D

  • @TygerShark92 becuase everyone in the world celebrates valintines day, probally more then half the world celebrates mothers day

    not everyone celebrates christmas

  • @eight634

Thats the most retarded comment Ive read in a while. Congrats.

  • @eight634 a lot more christians than you think man, like 2 billion roughly

  • he is absolutely adorableeee ! haha(:

  • i was watching this episode on tv (:

  • Of course women would get that question wrong.

Clearly associated their emotions with mother's day or valentine's day.

  • yep. those women are looking at his new wallet and saying to themselves "wow he is way hotter than he was an hour ago."

  • wow i would have thought for sure it would have been mothers day because everyone has a mother, but not everyone celebrates christmas. I guess the difference is on christmas you give out way more than 1 card.

  • @Balgore8 Not everyone. Some kids are orphans but orphans do get christmas cards :)

  • 3:08. Stare at it. Creepy..

  • confetti when someone wins! Or balloons, or something! :P

  • Woah, a nerd! Haven't seen a stereotype be so perfectly executed before.

  • 1 vs 100

    6 questions, 20 commercial breaks.

  • Ummm He sounds like the guy on Red Green lol

  • Why did they stop this on xbox :(

  • @RixBriann Supposedly money concerns. GSN is reviving 1 vs. 100, so there will be new episodes in the near future.

  • @RixBriann i really really really hope they bring it back one day

  • @RixBriann Because microsoft is too greedy to pay for them to let the minigame continue, they would much rather keep the millions and trillions of dollars that they get in every day.

  • The correct answer is..... right after this comercial brake.... .-.

  • well I'm a female and I chose christmas right off the bat- Valentines = chocolate and Mother's Day = Flowers duh they FAIL as women

  • Did I ever mention how awesome the way they celebrate the million dollar win? No fancy messages or anything, just a flash of $1,000,000. Simple, yet so effective. The music is nice as well- no bombastic theme, just a tune that's all like "you won, son."

  • how could no one think of Christmas.. that's also what i would have said.

  • that dude is a boss

  • i use bob saget as a cuss word. like, instead of god damn, i say BOB SAGET!

  • Such an easy question! How the heck did those 15 women get this wrong? I have one mother, one boyfriend, but lots of people to give things to on Christmas. Don't they?

  • DONT TRUST THE DAMN MOB

  • @THEOMGProduction Such a profound statement that goes way beyond this video :-)

  • now take the taxes away....

  • @love2shop565 Witch will leave him with $480,000

  • On Seinfeld, doesn't Newman refer to Mother's Day as "the mother of all mail days." That certainly threw me off.

  • you only have one mom, maybe 2 when yer married...you only give out v-day cards when yer dating...Christmas is the biggest holiday in the world, and i know non christians who celebrate...figures the $1,000,000 prize would be award when the mob was filled with women...

  • how can not a single person in 15 pick (a)! OMG

  • Interesting that 15 women got it wrong. This was a "trapping" question in a way that women may end up thinking emotionally instead of logically and get it wrong, given that they only have a few seconds.

Now my question. What will be the equivalent question for men that men will get it wrong?

  • @achoiusa How do you please a woman?

  • @mikek1975 In Soviet Russian, The women please YOU!

  • @mikek1975 Have a million dollars maybe?

  • @mikek1975 lol lol lol Why do woman fake orgasms???? Because they think we care!!! lol lol

  • @mikek1975 LOL Nice Question! PAWNED!

  • @mikek1975 im pretty sure that guy would gotten it right considering he doesn't know

  • @mikek1975 hahaahahaha ZING!!!

  • @achoiusa the ones that assume that everyone has a mother, like me.

  • @mikek1975, and what are the 3 answer choices? :-)

  • @achoiusa I don't know, It's impossible, and Leave the money on the nightstand? :-)

  • @achoiusa Yea i noticed that XD i guess housewives are always the same.

  • @TygerShark92 Christmas is a very "Christian" holiday and a lot of people don't celebrate it whereas Mother's day and Valentine's day are more secular? I'll admit I got it wrong too!

  • It honestly was a very easy question. And if you don't think it was, that should show you how foolish the general population is.

  • He looked like a nerd that night.

  • So that's where Bob Saget went! "Just for shiggles."

  • I could have sworn the blonde chick in the crowd they keep showing was the dumb blonde girl on the show who didnt know what a prime number was.

  • I acuaclly watched this and thought that the final question couldnt be that simple so i kept contradicting myself and btw best bob saget performance ever cause anything else eh did was fail

  • I just hope girls don't use him up for his money. He seems like such a nice guy.

  • Holy Sh*t! I can't believe they all got that wrong

  • jason you easily will get a million girls hehe, well done man

  • and thus came to pass the geek sheek way of fashion

  • is this why they canceled the show?

  • @perez334065 they didn't cancel it..

  • bob saget, hahahahaha

  • my mom was in the mob on this episode

  • So hold on........

Let's say he had the question wrong but he knocked out the mob.

Would he have gotten another question?

  • how did they copy deal or no deal? This is s trivia game, not a guess the number game! Idiot!!

  • The part where they slowly eliminated the mob was pretty intense.

  • 1 vs 100 copied deal or no deal

  • Just curious, iyo, how so?

  • @khachmi There's no trivia in deal or no deal gimme a break

  • @khachmi how did they copy it? there 100 vs 1 theres trivia and theres no cases :I Fail.

  • lucky bastard, that wasn't even too hard of a question.

  • it had to be christmas because mother's day and valentine's day are not official holidays.

  • its tricky because people would see "hallmark" and think it had to be a hallmark card

  • i just have to wonder what those girls thought processes were when choosing the answer. I mean, for valentines day or mothers day you would send 1 card, perhaps 2, but no more. For christmas, most people send dozens to all their family and friends.

  • "Excessum11": You're right about Mother's Day.

Valentine's Day, on the other hand, also counts the elementary school kids who have to buy cards for their entire class.

  • @ngarcia103 Quite right but its apparently not enough. My thought process when I saw this the firs time was: Christmas - tons of cards, Mother's day - flowers, Valentine's - candy and roses (and a few cards)

  • Bizarre they all got it wrong when most of them probably hang 30 or more Christmas cards up every winter and might get 1 Valentines Day or a couple Mother's Day cards. Logic certainly not most females strong suits.

  • with $1,000,000 he can have any babe he wants now!

  • that was incredible!! Congrats my fellow nerd!!!

  • I send out 100 cards on christmas, I dont give out cards on valentines much, and once on mothers day. Its obvious what the answer was, but the nerves get to ya ;)

  • Guts of steel?

The money won't hurt either :D

  • Easy win.

  • How do you figure tough guy?

  • your forgetting children , do you know how many chirdlren make christamas cards , and how many christmas cards parents give there children? christams owns ..lol ;)

  • "I feel nervous"

    NO DUH.

  • hell i'd feel nervous with all that money on the line

  • was that bob saget as the host?

  • yes sir it was

  • because women are biased towards mothers and valentines day. this question was easy.

  • that must have been the easyest question ever.

  • on mothers day I send out one card, on valentines day I give one card, on christmas I buy a box of cards.

  • @Davidchile so?

  • You have to consider all the mass mailings that get sent over Christmas season. Most big businesses and institutions will buy thousands or even millions of cards to send to everyone on their mailing list. This is not true for Mother's day in most cases, and certainly not for Valentine's day. Easy win.

  • its so obvious that all the women elected Mothers Day and Valentines Day

  • Lol i thought the same!

We womens are so important for men, how could it be anything else?

  • They dragged that out for 4 minutes after he locked in his answer. Wow. XD

    Glad you posted this Mike!

  • Congrats. They knew that the mob was full of women, most of whom look like mothers (from what I was looking at and judging). A question like that just asks for mothers to say "mothers day."

  • i thought it was christmas right away, no joke. my family sends out over 500 christmas cards.

i dont know how one person in that mob didnt say christmas.. thats kind of sad actually.

    great job jason!

  • As if no one said Christmas. Its obvious - people will give at a max 3 for mother's day (grandmothers, mother, step etc). Valentine's Day average one a person. Christmas, lots of people send about 30 - that easily balances those who don't celebrate.

  • i would have INTSTANTLY gone for christmas im not joking

  • I know i don't trust the validity of this. maybe a set up

  • i remember this episode. this was the last episode they showed.

  • kinda obivious they all look like they had kids, i think he knew they were going to say mother day

  • lol, wow! Congratulations, Jason!

  • Wow. Knowing women they would choose "Mother's Day," or "Valentine's Day." Hah, but seriously no one else chose Christmas. I've seen "Poll the Mob," and "Trust the Mob," how does"ask the mob" go?

  • Two people are randomly picked from the mob, one that got the answer right and one that got it wrong. the contestent then gets to talk to both people to hear what answer they picked and why. from what they say, the contestent picks which one convinces him/her the most. And since the contestent is hearing from someone that picked a wrong ans and the right ans, the answer that the people that the mob did not pick from is eliminated.

how would that work if no one in the mob got it right?

  • I read online that what would happen in that situation is only one person's answer would be revealed and they would be told that answer is incorrect.

  • where all the mob members women? if so why?

  • Battle of the sexes episode

  • This show wastes entirely too much time dancing around the stuff people care about. They drag out the show. No wonder it was canceled.

  • lol omg the million dollar question is easy if u think about it lol...right away when i saw the question i thought christmas.

  • bob saget!

  • I didn't like the fact it was cancelled, but at least GSN is showing it on Saturday nights now.

  • lmao shiggals.

  • WooW thank You America. You Invented this genious show and we enjoy it here in Israel !!! This is one of the most succesful shows in our little country and my favourite ! WOW that's just amazing !

  • Actually, thank The Netherlands. That's where 1 vs. 100 started.

  • Ohh I am Sorry for the mistake :]

    Proud Israeli

  • no thank you... xD

  • @mikek1975

Agree, most new shows originating from UK as well. The Brits very good at globalising shows.

  • America is actually one of the first countries to cancel the show....

All 'smart' shows gets cancelled here...just saying...

  • @mikek1975 I'm not thanking the netherlands haha ... they unleashed the horror of big brother on the world.

  • @michael9745 Its actually a US Version, came from an Endemol Franchise. Even the Philippines has a version, having 2 millionaire, winning 2 million philippine pesos

  • It is obvious that Christmas is the correct answer. On Mothers day you only give a card to you're mother while on Christmas to all you're friends and family.

  • watever happened to this show?

  • I read that it got cancelled last year for some reason. They shouldn't have cancelled it. It's a great game show!

  • Wow... I thought it would have been Mother's Day also. However, since there are more people who would potentially celebrate Christmas world wide as opposed to Mothers Day which is probably mostly celebrated in the Western World where women are held in a higher regard than other places....

  • its not just that

valentines day i would assume you would give your lover roses or chocolates, instantly eliminating that choice

mothers day at least for me its the same deal i get my mother either flowers or a gift but never a card

christmas however my dad goes all out and literally sends over 200 cards out to all the people he has met over the many years

  • Christmas came up instantly to me. People give Christmas cards to hundreds of people. I don't see how all 15 got it wrong.

  • It seems obvious christmas is the biggest holiday around the globe... Surely at least 1 person who lasted to the end would know that? I mean I can't even answer the first question at times, and I know this...

  • I guess because theyre all women, probably voted Mother's Day.

  • a lil sexis but true lol

  • dude on christmas people literally buy boxes of cards and every year send a card to everyone they know, vs everyone sending a single card to their mother each year or if you are married one to your wife as well, you know from the kids.

  • i can totaly believe that all the woman picked mothers day/ valentines

  • his life is forever changed...awesome!

  • This is where the player had a huge advantage because all the mob only has a real short time to lock in there answer and this is one you have to think about.... my first thought was mother's day because of the seinfeld truck where Newman talks about extra mail trucks on mother's day......This is pretty cool never thought anyone won the $1 milllion on this show.

  • See? THAT is how you react to winning a million dollars. Half the people that win that one Who Wants To Be A Millionaire react like 'yeah, whatever'.

Pretty cool question to win it on as a man vs. woman competition.

  • Hey, who are the ones who use post services most? Old people...Their mothers are dead and they don't give a crap about valentines day.

  • About three cards per house for Mother's Day, at Christmas/holiday season you can't count them all. Men and women obviously DO think differently.

  • wow that dude sounds and kinda looks like that mclovin guy from superbad lol

  • i was thinking the same thing!! :D i just watched the movie again

  • This Guy is a nerd. lol and i mean OMG ALL THE WOMAN BELIEVED V-DAY AND Mothers DAY? Amazing. Also i find that bit true. that v-day and mothers day is mostly cards. i barely get any cards for christmas

  • that almost seems rigged. how did not one person figure out it was christmas? you send like 30 damn cards out at christmas.

  • Ah.... but remember that from a woman's point of view, "Mother's Day" and "Valentines Day" are more prominent parts of their lives.

  • Why would they rig it they are the ones who give him 1 million dollars

  • I don't send out cards on Christmas, and there's never been a Mother's Day that I didn't get my mom a card. nfwu bring up a good point as well.

  • think about it like this, on mother's day and Valentines u give 1 person a card and in Christmas u get send, lets say 10 cards. so even if 1 out of 9 people only gave out cards on Christmas it still would be in the Lead. i thought of Valentines at first but if u stop for a second and think logically it has to be Christmas.

  • wow that was sick lol lucky kid

  • i almost got a heart attack!

  • Holy cow what an unbelievably easy question. You don't have to know the answer, you just have to have a brain!

Obviously it's not Valentines Day for the reason the contestant gave. And how many cards do you give/send at Christmas? Well obviously more than one. And how many families have more than one mum?

  • Besides Utah, nobody...right?

  • I was thinking Valentines day because I recall as a kid in school every kid would often give every other kid a minicard with candies and stuff.

It was usually policy to give out cards en mass to keep anyone from feeling bad if they got nothing.
