I've had the Novint Falcon for a little over a year now. I barely use it. Mostly because it took a long time to modify my desk to get the Falcon at a height that was comfortable to use it. That's the biggest downside about this controller, is it's difficult if not impossible to get it to a comfortable level. Also I do not recommend using it on a glass desk like I have. BTW I have the pistol grip and it's quite nice for the FPS games. I actually played it FEAR today and had a blast with it again.

@Tch0rT What are the downsides of using it on a glass desk? Loud or wears and tears/breaks the glass?

@kkevinC The rubber "feet" doesn't really stick well to the glass. The forces of the Novint Falcon can make it slide during the force feedback. FPS's weren't too bad with it. Gish and XLR8 are nearly unplayable on my glass desk because of the resistance it creates for the games. With Gish it felt like moving a lead ball. With XLR8 it was the resistance of the steering wheel during turns. I had to hold the controller down with one hand just to play those games. :(

im glad to see a customer review rather than all the one from the Novint Falcon people themselves. ive not heard a bad thing about the Falcon from a customer- all the bad comments are from people who dont have them- im gonna get one myself now :D
