@RihardsLacplesis There's a genre called jangle-pop, but this is a lot more American than most jangle-pop. If you want jangle-pop, look up anything by the Stone Roses, or Velocity Girl by Primal Scream and see if you agree. Otherwise, I'd go with college rock.

It's the need (want) of the record labels to appeal to all audiences, to try to increase profit. So instead of genre music like this, you get club-pop songs with autotune and hooks that try to appeal to everyone, but of course fail and end up appealing mostly to 14 year old girls.
