@R350zz33 rwd sucks offroad, that is why they aren't used in rally. Yes it requires skill and will beat most of other cars on tarmac...but it really stands no chance against 4wd rally car, doesn't matter Group B, N etc...

And atleast i, find both driving and watching a RWD way more interesting than 4wd. And thats the main point in rallying in my opinion :)

Idk, but most of videos I seen with RWD on snow, showed me RWD car struggling to go through. I don't drive car D:, but my friend took RWD over icy narrow road and it went backwards...

You said RWD did good on snow before 4WD was invented. What happened when AWD and 4WD were invented?

Rally is interesting, doesn't matter what type of car :P...but rwd should spin out in slippy corners

I am just saying that AWD and 4WD is much better than RWD, but I never tested that fact :/

But anyways. RWD was killed in early 80's when Audi dominated rallying in their 4WD Quattro that was impossible to compete in a rwd car.(Fun fact: Audi was never able to compete for victiories after they lost their technical advantage)

So yeah obviously 4WD is faster

But RWD times were the most interesting in my opinion when it was all about sliding around corners rear tires smoking you know? /

It's not a crash in the more common way of smashing into something but this is sure an accident. The back swings against the curb and damages the suspension.
