I went to LSU and never heard of this song until then. I actually like every version though. GSU might be the best, even though I like LSU's the best because it reminds me of school. They all have good aspects though. I like the way SU's tuba sounds during the chant, i like LSU's snare drums and slowed down sound... they're all pretty good.

1. SU--Best combination of power and energy

I am bias...I didn't got to either school, but my opinion is that LSU's tempo is what makes theirs stand out. When they play it at that tempo, they are really in sync as far as the instruments go, so to me theirs would be the best.

In 2003 , downtown Baton Rouge there was a celebration for both Southern and LSU because they both won national championships in football. Southerns band played "Talking Out The Side of Your Neck" and THAT is when LSU jumped on the bandwagon of playing it. For their style they are good, actually smashed Gramblings version. BUT to compare them to The Jukebox ; STAY IN YOUR LANE PIMPIN' !!!!!

From best to worse he rated then SU, LT, LSU, GSU. this obsrevation is UNBIASED. However all i have to say is, does grambling suck or do they SUCK.
