For those of you that belive in Darlie's innocence, please visit and help her with your comments and more on Facebook "Free Darlie Routier". This site was set up by a friend of mine trying to help free her from this nightmare of unjust police and media work. Let's do what we can to get this woman some long over due justice. Just as I thought the West Memphis 3 were innocent and put in prison due to a witch hunt I feel that the same has happened to Darlie Routier, Soon as I can I will try and help.
I have no evidence of Darin's guilt either directly or indirectly with this case but I have always felt his behavior was more peculiar than Darlie's ever was. I feel it strange that the authorities overlooked him more or less and because Darlie did not mourn in the way they thought she should they focused solely on her. More attention should have been given to other suspects and Darin in particular. I hope Darlie get's justice and is one day soon free.

Mothers kill their children. Google Monica McCarrick.But a sane woman, with everything to live for, and no motive to kill for; a woman who is of sound mind would never do this and destroy everything she has - ESPECIALLY if she was so filled with vanity. She had it all! I heard the prosecutor say she was self-absorbed...well, self-absorbed women don't slash their throats leaving a big scar for everyone to stare at, as well as 2mm from her carotid. I have my doubts.This one appears very strange.
its hard to think any mom can do this, However the video of her with the silly string is pathetic. if I lost my children I would be in misery and pain for the rest of my life. My kids are my life and to be happy just days or even weeks after losing them ( to such a horrific crime) I would wanna die myself.
@drakeitup1 My 19 year old brother died in 1975, trapped in a burning home. My father attempted to get him out, while my mother was a witness to the horrible scene. My father could not stop crying, but my mother was stoic, not shedding a tear for many months. When she finally broke down, I didn't think she would ever stop crying. All these years later, my mom still cries and mourns the death of her only son.
@drakeitup1 But, if you had witnessed her at my brother's funeral, you would have thought she wasn't grieving, if you believe that tears = grief. Please don't judge. You truly DO NOT know what you would do if you lost your child because you haven't and hopefully, you never do.

I just watched the above video and I will also with pleasure do all the things you guy's are asking. I can't beleive they did this to her!!! I'm getting such a sick feeling in my stomace right now. Oh my gosh! I just started reading into this case again, I lived outside of Dallas when all of this happened & I thought for sure she was guilty! Wow, do I feel like an idiot!! To say the least! I just started to reading some articles and watched some of these utube clips in the last couple of days and WOW it is so obvious that she's innocent. This is unbeleivable!! And, sooooo sad. If Darlie's family read's this you all have my FULL SUPPORT!! I will send a donation, & pray 4 her 2!
Keep in mind, Darlie's guilt was not established by a police interview - of course she would be nervous amid the circumstances. Look at the evidence against her in isolation and without biased. Darlie wants us to believe this was a random crime by a violent child killer - but there have been no repeat crimes. This was obvioiusly a crime committed by a family member. I agree the media sensationalizes cases and can't be believed. But look at the evidence without bias and the conclusion's easy

It has been MEDICALLY proven that Damon only had NINE minutes to survive as blood slowly filled his little lungs, Darlie call 911 within 5 minutes of the attack. @jamie1milnes I'm reading your comment and I would really like to believe you on this and at first, when she was found guilty, I was shocked, but I wasn't on the jusry and I didn't hear all of the story, but I remember thinking how could she spray silly string and laugh and smack gum, after she buried not one, but two of her children, within like 1- 2 weeks after they died? I then found out after the trial, that he had failed more than once, lie detectors tests.

@ 1:56. Cron did not decide after 20 minutes that Darlie was the killer. He decided 20 - 30 minutes into his initial walk- through that something wasn't right.
we all should step back and realize that this could just as easily happen to one of us.....what if one of you out there were accused of just hurting your child and no matter what you could prove...and no matter how much you told the truth..you were still demonized and found guilty, even though you were NOT. Can you imagine.....people thinking and believing that you actually hurt your own flesh and blood...WHAT IF YOU WERE WRONGLY ACCUSED OF MURDER...let alone wrongly accused of murdering yours
@IcyqueenbR That would be terrible. Hopefully, if that happened and we were innocent, we wouldn't have a mountain of evidence against us like Darlie does.
From the Unsolved Mysteries segment, to her bizarre behaviour she just has the look of guilt on her. But other than that there is the evidence. The murder weapon was her own kitchen knife. Who burglarizes a house and without a weapon and then routes around to find a weapon in that same house? Why kill the boys? Why not the husband? Why not the baby? Why are there no witnesses to anything that could clear Darlie?

@MsLourie1 I am not sure of her innocence, but I don't believe she dropped the sock. The sock had blood from both children on it, and Darlie's salivia thus supporting her claim there was a sock in her mouth. Since the little boy only had 9 minutes to live and she was on the phone with the police for over 6 that left little time to run 3 houses down and plant a sock.
Interesting case..What is strange about the episode i watched on her is that the focus is whether or not she is guilty rather than focusing on a suspect of how they were killed. She didn't plant a sock, etc.. What about that black car the father was talking about? With the evidence I've seen, she should not be in jail and it is just another case which proves how corrupt the American Justice system is. That prosecutor made me sick to my stomach. It's like he had no consciousness in him/no human
@2hereagain... What I said was I didn't want any negative comments posted here towards anybody (which includes those who believe Darlie is guilty). I am well aware that people may not believe in her innocence, and I am aware that there are contrasting opinions; however, you can state your opinions without being hateful or hurting anybody's feelings. @MsLourie1 I don't comment on every single post, MsLourie1. I had to go back through the old posts to even find the comment you were talking about. She may express her views differently than I would (and from what I could see that was just in one post) but ultimately we both believe in guilt. So even if I had seen the comment when it was posted, you're right, I doubt I would have said a thing.
Somethings are unforgivable just because i haven't been obsessed with this case for 11 years, or it goes against what you believe, does not mean I'm insane, sorry it's not all about you and your not getting all the attention, but calm down, I mean how are you going to relief yourself...
@MsLourie1 Hon... I said inane, not insane. Also, the Routier case is not the only case I've ever researched. Anything with mystery and/or controversy and I am automatically interested. So it's really more of an obsession with true crime stories than just with this case in particular. As for the rest of your post... I just don't know.
2here As far as my insane comments, the insurance company paid me $11,000, I was forced to take a pysche evaluation which I aced, plus my ex has admitted and appologized because him, his first wife, her attorney, and the DA, behind my back, covered this up...

@lwomar Darlie did sob the day of the grave site party, that video was just never shown to the jury but their was a police surveillance tape that showed a priest saying prayers and Darlie sobbing and telling her dead children that she loved them.Darlie's mother told her not to cry and sob because all the neighborhood children that were invited to Devon's birthday party came to the grave site party and Darlie's mother told her not to sob so the children would not be scared.
@growingpainsfanatic when I;ve been crying, even several hours later, you can tell. You can tell on anyone -red eyes, swollen eyes, red blotchy face, and forget about makeup, it's gone. Now with Darlie, she supposedly sobbed, cried, grieved, yet for part 2 of the cemetery show her skin looked perfect, her eyes were clear and not swollen. Not red at all. She didn't look like she had been crying any time recently.
And what is that, a whole neighborhood full of morons??? What parent lets their child go to a cemetery birthday party done at the graveside of a murdered child? For one, since they still didn't know who did it, I wouldn't want my kid anywhere near any of that whole scene....and two, it's just so morbid and inappropriate. A young child could have nightmares for life over something like that. No, that party was a show for the media. A paid show.
I believe Barry Fife and Ben Claybourg that were involved with stealing Darin's car 3 years ago and stealing his credit card and charging 10,000 dollars to it should be considered suspects.Police officer Jimmy Patterson's son Chad Patterson should be considered a suspect too.The boys true killer drove a black sedan that was reported by the Routier's house on the night of the murders, the police officers son Chad drove a black sedan.

You cant say that , you dont know how you are going to grieve.

That logic is fine if you're talking about some other relative in the family... an aunt or an uncle or even a grandparent... but not your children. I DO know that I would be out of my mind sick with grief. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

@kclark2864 lol. I have studied this case for nearly 11 years. I have read the transcripts many, many times. I have read every court document, book, article, website that I can find. When I first heard about this case, I believed her. But researching the case changed that. It is because of that research that I believe very much in her guilt. I have all of the facts. My opinion remains the same.

Can you honestly sit there and tell me that a person can inflict such horrible bruising to their own self? Yes, I can honestly sit here and tell you that I believe, without a doubt, that she could and did inflict her own wounds. See, when you "tried it", you didn't have to worry about being executed of you failed. So, of course, you would not have the same motivation that Darlie had. @2hereagain not only did she not commit this crime but i think you need to study other cases where parents have killed thier own children, Andrea Yates, drown her kids, Susan Smith drown her kids, many other drown their kids, or some other form of suffocation NOT mutilating them or stabbing them, a child who has killed their parent maybe the other way around , but i think you need to study further on this , i do know that you and Bhav341 are both wrong , NO ONE knows how they will react.

@kclark2864 I know one thing....the only time I saw tears from that woman, the ONLY time...is in the photo taken of her right after they arrested her. That seemed to upset her a lot.
Yes, people grieve in different ways. But they don't typically grieve by dancing around and singing like they are at a Pizza Hut birthday party when they are at the graveside of their two children who they supposedly watched die so horribly. The average person, the majority, just wouldn't be able to do that.
@Bhav341 Really, I lost my daughter's twin sister, Every year we add BOTH names to the birthday cake and even add her name when we sing Happy Birthday. It's our way to honor our little lost angel. I see nothing wrong with her style of grieving. Silly String was the boys favorite toy and DANA brought not Darlie.

@2hereagain No actually the other way around, My daughter was in the arms of the angels. I know that Heaven is a most wonderful place and I don't cry for her because I know where she is. Do I wonder what she would be like if she was here with with me? Yes, That I do. I know what she would look like. They were identical. Crying when one passes away is not something I do, I know God has a plan for them. Brianna who is featured on my channel is with God, I'm happy with that, I'll see her again
@DantesBbyGrl07 Well, that is great that you were able to handle it like that. I can tell you that I would be grief stricken. I know that Heaven is a wonderful place, too. But it would break my heart beyond words for my child/children to die. Most especially losing two at 5 & 6 years old in the middle of the night as they slept a few feet away from me. It makes me sick to even consider it.
@2hereagain There is no right or wrong way to grieve a loss of a child. It would be fair to assume that Darin and Darlie didn't view it as anything morbid or tacky, Devon's party was already planned before his death and they just continued those plans. Now, I would want my child's favorite toy brought to a party in this case it was silly string, My children love it too. I have had silly string fights with them. I can see why they used it.
@2hereagain Oh You don't know how you would react until it happens to you, I hope you never have to deal with the loss of a child. I always said if I lost a child I would break, but it happened and I didn't break. I have lost a spouse as well, Just a year after our daughter's death. I miss him, but I know he is with Brianna and again I will see him again in Heaven. I have Faith. Lots of it sometimes

I have debated with many people and I must say you are one of the few who believe in something and don't back down, but you must also accept the views of others and not flame them when they stand behind their own opinions and that's ALL that we have here. Darlie's case was/is a screwed up case from the word go. Only three people know the truth and two are dead. God will be the final judge when the time comes

Imprison her for life but I don't think it's right for them to kill her. I really do wish they had concentrated more on having her sentence commuted. Maybe it still will be. That is possible.

The Mother (Darlie) did not do this crime. She did not kill her boys. No, I do not know her or her family. I feel that, she did not do it. Which means, the real person that killed her boys, is out here with us. Going on with their life, maybe has killed again. Thank God for D N A. Hope you are anyone else is ever put in her shoes.
Dear lindalovesmusic1, thank you for spreading misinformation. Those boys were NOT stabbed 20 to 30 times. If people who believe that Darlie is guilty wish to believe that, that's fine, but at least get your information correct before posting your view.
@frognerbadet The jury member Charlie Stamford now knows with all his heart that she is not guilty after he saw photos that he did not see of Darlie's injuries at the trial.I saw him interviewed on Unsolved Mysteries, 48 hours and more media shows.Charlie Stamford said if he had seen the photos of her injuries at trial that she would be home with her family.
@growingpainsfanatic On 48 hours, just after they interviewed this juror you mention, Darlie's own attorney stated that he DID include those photos for the jury to see, and then said that he had no idea why the juror did not see them. Did you miss that part? Maybe you have selective attention, you are only listening when what is being said confirms YOUR opinion? Probably the juror DID see them, and maybe he is senile and forgot or was half asleep or in the bathroom.
People need to look at the facts in this case. I watched it from beginning to end and I like a lot of you thought jut maybe there could be a mistake. But there are so many things against her in this case. #1, the screen was cut from the inside, not the outside where an intruder would be able to get in. #2 Where the screen was cut, there was dust on the window sill, undisturbed; an intruder would have disturbed the dust. #3 Her consistent lies. #4 that laugh of hers at the gravesight. Guilty!

I do think the silly string is disturbing (laughing and smacking her gum and smiling at the reporter), but the other circumstantial evidence is what nailed her. It's hard to imagine how a young mother could do this, which is why she has supporters. I think she got mad at Darin and killed them in a rage after she and Darin had an argument (which he testified they did).
@mlc2005 I am not a Routier supporter because it is hard to imagine a mother murdering her own kids, I am her supporter because I really believe evidence could prove Darlie innocent. I believe in a lot of mothers guilt of killing their children such as Diane Downs,Susan Smith,Andrea Yates,Wendy Luke,Stephanie Lopez,Deanna Lacey,and Paula Simms just to name a few.
One fact that doesn't get a lot of attention is this: Darlie said "If I did it, I don't remember" when asked by a detective if she killed her children. She responded this way three times (read the trial transcript of her testimony). She destroyed her credibility when she testified; she also said she knew who killed the boys in letters to friends and family, even naming someone who was a family friend and could not have done it. I do agree that MANY things were prejudicial at her trial...
@mlc2005 Darlie's mother Darlie Kee believes that Darlie never made the incriminating statement,she said that the investigator that questioned Darlie after the murders said he didn't have a video tape or audio tape but Darlie Kee believes that he had both and won't produce it because then other people would know that Darlie was telling the truth. The trial transcripts should be inadmissable if Darlie is retried because they have more than 30,000 errors, 34,000 errors to be exact.
@growingpainsfanatic: I hope that you aren't determining her guilt based on what her mother thinks. It is natural for a (good) mother to support her child unconditionally ( and I'm sure she can't handle the thought that Darlie did this). What about the letters she sent to friends from jail saying she "knows" who did this (even naming someone)? How do you respond to that. The transcript issue has already been deemed irrelevant by the courts. If her innocence is based on typos she's in for it.
@mlc2005 now....if you were accused of killing your kids, and you knew you did not do it, would you EVER say something to the police like
"If I did it, I don't remember" NO!! But, a guilty person would say something like that, thinking maybe they could get out of it by way of temporary insanity of whatever. But an innocent person, no, they would never say that.

It's sad & I suppose nice in a way that people want to believe in someone's innocence, your're right, people who can't think for themselves rely on the opinions and feelings of others. And of course her mom thinks she is innocent. The majority of the mothers (and fathers) of murderers feel this way. You can't exactly expect them to be fair or impartial, there is too much emotion (and denial) wrapped up in what they feel.
When Darlie was first convicted, I thought maybe there was a mistake. But, now, I am convinced that she murdered her boys and I'm not sure if her husband isn't somehow behind it. Think about it, these boys were stabbed at least 20- 30 times, each. She has failed at least 2 polygraphs, maybe more. If you didn't murder your children, there is No way in hell that you would fail! She is right where she needs to be. How do you laugh and smack gum at your childs grave when you just buried them?

I don't care about the "solemn" ceremony they had before the silly string party. Just because she cried an hour before justifies the cutesy happy behavior at your babies GRAVES??? And it wasn't just that. If she was tried again without the silly string tape, she would still be found guilty.

I have no evidence of Darin's guilt either directly or indirectly with this case but I have always felt his behavior was more peculiar than Darlie's ever was. I feel it strange that the authorities overlooked him more or less and because Darlie did not mourn in the way they thought she should they focused solely on her. More attention should have been given to other suspects and Darin in particular. I hope Darlie get's justice and is one day soon free.

Keep in mind, Darlie's guilt was not established by a police interview - of course she would be nervous amid the circumstances. Look at the evidence against her in isolation and without biased. Darlie wants us to believe this was a random crime by a violent child killer - but there have been no repeat crimes. This was obvioiusly a crime committed by a family member. I agree the media sensationalizes cases and can't be believed. But look at the evidence without bias and the conclusion's easy

From the Unsolved Mysteries segment, to her bizarre behaviour she just has the look of guilt on her. But other than that there is the evidence. The murder weapon was her own kitchen knife. Who burglarizes a house and without a weapon and then routes around to find a weapon in that same house? Why kill the boys? Why not the husband? Why not the baby? Why are there no witnesses to anything that could clear Darlie?

The sock had blood from both children on it, and Darlie's salivia thus supporting her claim there was a sock in her mouth. Since the little boy only had 9 minutes to live and she was on the phone with the police for over 6 that left little time to run 3 houses down and plant a sock.

Interesting case..What is strange about the episode i watched on her is that the focus is whether or not she is guilty rather than focusing on a suspect of how they were killed. @growingpainsfanatic when I;ve been crying, even several hours later, you can tell. You can tell on anyone -red eyes, swollen eyes, red blotchy face, and forget about makeup, it's gone. Now with Darlie, she supposedly sobbed, cried, grieved, yet for part 2 of the cemetery show her skin looked perfect, her eyes were clear and not swollen. Not red at all. She didn't look like she had been crying any time recently.

When I first heard about this case, I believed her. But researching the case changed that. It is because of that research that I believe very much in her guilt. I have all of the facts. @kclark2864 I know one thing....the only time I saw tears from that woman, the ONLY time...is in the photo taken of her right after they arrested her. That seemed to upset her a lot.
Yes, people grieve in different ways. But they don't typically grieve by dancing around and singing like they are at a Pizza Hut birthday party when they are at the graveside of their two children who they supposedly watched die so horribly. The average person, the majority, just wouldn't be able to do that.

Do I wonder what she would be like if she was here with with me? Yes, That I do. I know what she would look like. They were identical. It would be fair to assume that Darin and Darlie didn't view it as anything morbid or tacky, Devon's party was already planned before his death and they just continued those plans. Now, I would want my child's favorite toy brought to a party in this case it was silly string, My children love it too. I have had silly string fights with them. I can see why they used it.

@growingpainsfanatic On 48 hours, just after they interviewed this juror you mention, Darlie's own attorney stated that he DID include those photos for the jury to see, and then said that he had no idea why the juror did not see them. Did you miss that part? Maybe you have selective attention, you are only listening when what is being said confirms YOUR opinion? Probably the juror DID see them, and maybe he is senile and forgot or was half asleep or in the bathroom.

People need to look at the facts in this case. I watched it from beginning to end and I like a lot of you thought jut maybe there could be a mistake. But there are so many things against her in this case. #1, the screen was cut from the inside, not the outside where an intruder would be able to get in. #2 Where the screen was cut, there was dust on the window sill, undisturbed; an intruder would have disturbed the dust. #3 Her consistent lies. #4 that laugh of hers at the gravesight. Guilty!

I do think the silly string is disturbing (laughing and smacking her gum and smiling at the reporter), but the other circumstantial evidence is what nailed her. It's hard to imagine how a young mother could do this, which is why she has supporters. I think she got mad at Darin and killed them in a rage after she and Darin had an argument (which he testified they did).

One fact that doesn't get a lot of attention is this: Darlie said "If I did it, I don't remember" when asked by a detective if she killed her children. She responded this way three times (read the trial transcript of her testimony). She destroyed her credibility when she testified; she also said she knew who killed the boys in letters to friends and family, even naming someone who was a family friend and could not have done it. I do agree that MANY things were prejudicial at her trial...

@mlc2005 Darlie's mother Darlie Kee believes that Darlie never made the incriminating statement,she said that the investigator that questioned Darlie after the murders said he didn't have a video tape or audio tape but Darlie Kee believes that he had both and won't produce it because then other people would know that Darlie was telling the truth. The trial transcripts should be inadmissable if Darlie is retried because they have more than 30,000 errors, 34,000 errors to be exact.

It is natural for a (good) mother to support her child unconditionally ( and I'm sure she can't handle the thought that Darlie did this). What about the letters she sent to friends from jail saying she "knows" who did this (even naming someone)? How do you respond to that. The transcript issue has already been deemed irrelevant by the courts. If her innocence is based on typos she's in for it.

It's sad & I suppose nice in a way that people want to believe in someone's innocence, your're right, people who can't think for themselves rely on the opinions and feelings of others. And of course her mom thinks she is innocent. The majority of the mothers (and fathers) of murderers feel this way. You can't exactly expect them to be fair or impartial, there is too much emotion (and denial) wrapped up in what they feel.

When Darlie was first convicted, I thought maybe there was a mistake. But, now, I am convinced that she murdered her boys and I'm not sure if her husband isn't somehow behind it. Think about it, these boys were stabbed at least 20- 30 times, each. She has failed at least 2 polygraphs, maybe more. If you didn't murder your children, there is No way in hell that you would fail!
