Nice!! I like the Beach Boys instrumentals pretty much wore out the 33's; I need to find a CD with their early things with David Marks. Their verison of Honky Tonk is one of the best.

Oh you are so right! I have wonderful memories of hearing their cover of Honky Tonk as a kid.

Capitol at one time had a CD that had Surfin' Safari and Surfin' USA's material.

Thanks, Mr. Prez. I am going to do more surf material over time. I am quite familiar with "Wipeout", I've done it with several bands over the years. But I want to do it right, get the licks right and everything, like Desiree (Bassett for those of you who don't know who she is, she's awesome!!) does.

Thank you! On a Gibson Les Paul!lol Capturing the essence of this classic was exactly what I wanted to do. It was very enjoyable and satisfying to do this tune. "Stoked" is my all time favorite Beach Boys instrumental.

Oh, I know! Carl Wilson and David Marks did it on record. I tried to get the fullness and punch that the two of them got on the record and none of my Fenders could get the tone! That's why I had to go to my Gibson Les Paul, it got closer than anything else I had...

Ain't that a hoot? Playing surf rock with a Les Paul! lol
