I just saw this today; spent all day watching this lol! Basically, I was lazy today ^^ It was very good, I really enjoyed it. I saw comments about the series on videos for ABC's new show "Once upon a time". People said it was similar so I wanted to check it out; I love anything fantasy (Harry Potter, Hunger Games, etc.). TeeHee! I had this on VHS and it got stuck in the vcr....I watched this movie like 10 times while hallucinating on pain meds after getting my wisdom teeth pulled. XD It was the best week ever...No school and non-stop 10th kingdom. Yay!

I was always a little creeped out by the "urban renewal" thing (but in a good way)--it was the music used in the song matching with the visuals so profoundly that did it.

I've heard the longer versions sung by other artists, including that by Rose Royce, and I have to say I like Stockley's version best--but again, it's because of the music used. I would dearly love if they did the long version using the same orchestration....but unfortunately, that's like wishing for the second movie.........

I first saw this movie when I was 10. I loved it. I still do. Then, just last year, I was on a school East Coast Trip, and we came around the corner to see the building at 0:41. I started taking pictures and saying OMG its a castle. And I looked for magical portals in central park. My friends didn't get it, so when we got back we saw all 7 hours of the epic movie. Now we're ALL weird like that! :D

Im re watching this atm having not watched it in like 5 years. Still ENCHANTS me like no other magical film or TV series. The casting was just spot on Kimberley Williams is just beautiful and such a great actress.

Im still hoping we will see a follow up one day with all the same cast and writers.

The 9 kingdoms, are an alternate dimension of sorts, where Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel ruled different kingdoms, and changed the world. One of the evil step mothers mirrors leads to our world,known to them as the Fabled 10th Kingdom. Very interesting movie.

Love the song, loved the show.. question though, i saw the show on Kuwait tv right after the Sept 11 attacks, the intro was censored cuz of the WTC falling (here seen at 0:53). My question is, is this different than the intro from original release? if not, was the censorship (modification) from the producers or most likely from our local tv station? just wondering.

Unforunatly, the 10th Kingdom had gotten bad reviews, so the decided not to make the sequence to the mini tv series. I wish they did, because I was always curious to see what happens between Virigina and Wolf. Lol! I loved that series and still do.
