  • It took me a while to figure out they weren't talking in super-thick Appalachian accents; who knew people outside of the US cared about tractor pulls? That's awesome.

  • his drive train failed at 0:15 engine over reved and exploded

  • theres the problem, theres a big hole in your engine

  • Just going by what little i know about big motors but... When its about to blow and it goes really high rpm, im assuming that the lower crank-case blew so there was no reverse compression then when the oil dropped out, and the engine was to stressed, one or more of the cylinders blew up, but at least one was in tact keeping the motor running, then the gas was still going into the "dead" cylinders and after a while it caught spark and went into flames? Correct me, im sure theres more to it

  • Lol i love how he just lets it run until the damn thing bursts into flames XD

  • Yah man Pull Fire Sound

  • ha uhh daddy why do we run green the red ones have easy engines to work on! they take themselves apart :]

  • At least the crank is shiny

  • Its a newer Case IH whats else is there to say?

  • Now THAT is a catastrophic engine failure.

  • Now THAT is a catastrophic engine faiure.

  • Mate. I think ya lost a piston.

  • ...or two

  • Drivetrain broke, which sent RPM's to the moon- and BOOM !!! A hundred dollar rev limiter would have saved him 50 grand !!!

  • Na just slap on a little jb weld

  • oh wow blew the whole side of the block off

  • Easy access crankcase. New design for faster turnaround in the pits.

  • haha

  • malaka fugan ta pistonia

  • sponsored by a muck spreader company obviously the way it was flailing the bits out the side ,LOL

  • Bare in mind overfuelling beyond a certain point looses power, I doubt that they have problems finding high enough boost, the limiting factor is dynamic compression ration,

this increases with boost so static ratio is lowered, this can only get so low before the engine wont start. Methanol is used to make more use of excess air aswell to increase power, like gas injection on diesels.

  • Bare in mind if an engine is smoking due to overfuelling and u increase boost, smoke will decrease, its all aquestion of more air needs more fuel to make use of it.

Even with gallons per minute consumption with enough air it would stop smoking, but a little more fuel would give more power so its logical that they would smoke like u say.

The new truck racers dont anymore- shame.

  • Correction for a given boost a diesel must smoke to make max power but u can get massive power with high boost and high fuelling rates without smoke, see new race trucks etc. its a case of upping fuelling to match boost.

When more boost is gonna kill engine for more power- smoke. yummy!

  • I know what u mean, some diesels use diesel with methanol injection aswell I think????

or do they, I only know what I've seen on tv or you tube!

  • That'll buff out...

  • E tam, nic się nie stało :P Tłok,pierścionki, szlifa się zrobi i będzie żył. :D

  • hows that kohler workin out

  • Wouldn't have happened if you had a deere.

  • The name of this tractor is Maximum Risk...??

    't say's enough...

  • Wow that one really scattered itself all over the place.

  • considering its a case/ih, im guessing that would be a cummins B. wow that sure took one helluva hole outta the block, i once had a 3408 cat take off on me, sent a rod right through the block after she wrapped around and punched a hole through both sides and took out the starter. that was some mess, i found the rod (what was left) about 100 feet away, the cat was running at top rpm also (around 3800)

  • They still get big diesels to rev to 6500rpm!! theres a Sisu diesel, 14litres , 6cyl in a tractor that does. It may be diesel and methanol, using diesel as the pilot ignition, or do u know the owner?

  • Its not achevy engine.

Its a diesel, u can tell by the noise, the smoke, the sound, oh and its in the diesel class!

  • Its a diesel converted to methanol, aprox 10liter in volume and reving to high. the whole block cracked open and maby the heads is worth sawing.

  • weld it up ,and sell it quick...

  • na motor is fine just cover it up with duct tape, and some glue, be running like a champ in no time!!

  • that engine is defenetly needing new parts, or am i wrong? =, few cylinders etc :S or new motor :D
