  • Appendicitis has a number of clinical features; 1. Central abdominal pain, may start vaguely in the umbilical region and then becomes localized in the right iliac fossa; 2. Nausea, vomiting, anorexia, and sometimes diarrhoea 3. Tenderness in the right iliac fossa; upon physical examination - You get localized tenderness in the right iliac fossa, percussion tenderness and rebound and ofcourse, revsing's sign - psoas sign = applying pressure in left iliac fossa would elicit pain in right iliac fo
