However, when you wrote that Phyllis and Del were the first ones married in California, please know that my wife, Diane Olson and I were married in Los Angeles County at the same time that Del and Phyllis were married in SF. The County Board of Supervisors allowed Diane and I to be married that night (the only marriage in LA County on June 16, 2008) as we were the original plaintiffs in the lawsuit that brought marriage equality to California.
