Word is the seating style/position of the Ducati wasn't to his liking, but I'm not precisely sure as to what was the main reason he turned down Ducati.

You can read in is book that he doesn´t like Ducati´s filosofy..In ducati they say that the bike is the most important, not the pilot, and thats why he got out of Honda too...

Even with all the technology, the rider is the most important factor in any motor sport...

To Rahowr - It was just the same in F1 in the schumacher years. U can't moan about a man at the top of his game, it's not his fault. one thing u can moan about tho is the media coverage. There, i think, u have a point. it is all about Rossi. i think he has a couple more seasons in him yet! it will be a sad day when rossi stops racing, u can't deny that! and yes i am a rossi fan too but i always like to see hayden do well!

Actually your wrong, the Fiat Yamaha bike is the best bike in the field by a country mile. This season Lorenzo has not finished off the podium when he has finished the race and Rossi only once. Take the last race for instance Rossi would of finished 20 seconds ahead of the rest of the field if he raced all the way until the end. The Yamaha is just an all round good bike thats easy to ride and still fast unlike the Honda's and Ducati's.

I mean that Rossi is good but he is not riding 2s 500cc gpbike and those were 100x harder to ride without ESP and anti-hopping clutch , and there was extreme kick on 10 000 rpm + because its 2s not 4s now they are ballanced at rpm and they dont leave black stripes at 200km/h behind :)
