Why didn't you save some money on your bank and buy the 215's ? I know the watts are the same but the b212d's have not enough bass for a party, the 215's do

I would never buy powered speakers. Passive are the best if you want to do something professional. These speakers for a room are ok. I have 4 Behringer Eurolive B215XL / 4 Behringer VP1520 / 2 Behringer Europower 4000 / 1 Behringer FBQ 1502 and I'm on to buy 4 Behringer VP1800S! It's just that If I buy powered I will always afraid of "Burning" them. Whith the amplifiers you have the peak led in front of you!

P.S: Your speakers are ok for the way you want to use them.

@djsexty you ar totaly wrong, with passive speakers you amplifier is way to expensive and an active speaker system is easier to set up. but in club's, they use most of the time passive, because i think it's cheaper for them to buy a few amplifiers

@bartiiiooo working with passive speakers you are able to have full control of your sound. Yes, passive speakers are mostly used in clubs and concerts. Working with active speakers yes it is easier to setup, they made them easy to setup for non experience sound engineers. You don't have many pros. in using acive speaker. Believe me I have work with acive speakers in a small concert.. Awful... Just to know, if you're ever gonna work in concert use passive! :-)
