  • @StyleCents - Traditionally the hands are hennaed because they take the stain the best. Also, it allows the wearer to easily see the art, and enjoy it for the time it is on the body. That being said - I regularly henna legs, feet, backs, shoulders, upper arms, bellies (incl. expectant moms), and hips. Henna will stain any skin, but the depth of colour is best and most dramatic at the extremities of the body. Thanks for your question! :)

  • I've made it and it looks so beautiful .......

  • waaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • il est bop ce dessin de hénné bravo

  • @katrine6494 -- Merci beaucoup katrine!

  • i love it, it looks perfect i tried it but mines not as perfect

  • WAAAAUWW :o!

  • hah random but

Can you take your henna powder in your luggage on a air plane trip?

  • @RandomnesExpirience - When I'm traveling by air, I pack both henna powder and henna paste in my luggage - not my carry on, but the stowed luggage. Hasn't been an issue yet, but then again, I'm flying within Canada for my gigs, so have not encountered customs issues.

  • its sooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful

  • @tayyabakhan1 - thank you for your kind comment, and all the extra "o"s !!! :)

  • its beautiful and just simply amazing

  • @goldenmist12 - thank you so much!

  • I Love This Its Amazing ... Does The Stuff Actually Stay On?

  • thank you!

  • @kitchang13 - my previous reply did not work - sorry for the delay in my noticing that. The paste stays on the skin from 3-12 hours - the longer the better. The henna paste stains the skin it is touching. When you remove the henna paste, the skin will hold the stain from 1-2 weeks. No pain, chemicals or icky stuff - just henna. :) Henna can be purchased through my online store, should you like to try this out yourself.

  • @AtlanticHenna yeah it stays on really well when you seal it with lemon sugar water too, or a wrap depending on how dark you want it

  • Hey, I've just started to do henna and I guess i've done a really good one on my hand. Please check out my videos and try to give me tips... The video's arent up now but are going to be uploaded by 8th March. x.X.x

  • I just love henna.. I wish i could be as good as you are but im just a beginner.. :D

  • Thank you for you kind words - keep practicing designs or elements you know and like, and as your confidence grows, start embellishing or adding new components to grow as an artist and continue to gain confidence and expand your range! :)

  • Super!

could you also please tell me how to make henna and what is the best way to make the cone.

    thankssssssssssssssssss so much

  • @neetahluwalia - I will post a vid on rolling a cone in the new year - just sorting out some camera difficulties - so many delays for me posting new vids! :) As for how to make henna - my mix is simple - lemon juice, henna powder, sugar, and a very small amount of lavender essential oil - let things sit for about 24-48 hours till the dye has released, and then you are good to go! :)

  • cool! thanks so much for sharing.

  • Really super yar

  • @priyapackirisamy1 - thanks so much!

  • @shaboom812 - ariba ariba! thanks for the nice comment!

  • Wonderful design dear

    wow

  • @kumkumsum - thanks very much

  • pretty =) & are Henna designs only done on the hands ?

  • Thanks very much. Henna can be applied anywhere, but the henna will stain the extremities (hands, feet, lower arms and lower legs) somewhat better than other parts of the body like backs, tummies, faces. It is most common to see henna on hands and feet, although I have done many a pregnant belly, full arms and back / shoulder pieces.

  • Wow!! nice design!!

  • Nice job Lar !!!!

  • Hi Julz!! Thanks :)

  • wow awesome 5 stars!

  • you are realy good...and watching u makes it look so easy but its not...thanks 4 sharing it with us tho...xx

  • All very beautiful ,,,,Is any one can tell me how to make liquide henna which we use to put on Eid with chouriyaan shops, with wooden blocks designe I want to know if some one can tell me that recipes of that blooks mixtures..please (How to make Henna Ink for Woodend Blocks)

  • If you are using natural henna - the paste would be the same as henna that would be applied by cone or other applicator. My guess is that you would just need to thin it out a bit more. I have never used such blocks / stamps, and would wonder if the quality of the stain would be compromised because of the manner of applying. Not sure if this helped you or not - perhaps someone else can add to this.

  • so fast and neatly done - amazing

  • thanks! :)

  • M so jealous of u 4 tat marvelous speed. Kudos 2 u. Lovely

  • Thank you for your kind words.

  • very impressive. I am pretty slow. I have tried thinning frosting so I can practice on paper, but it hasn't helped. How did you get so fast?

  • sorry for the delay in responding to your comment. I'm not sure how I came to be so fast with henna - truly - this is just the speed that feels natural and "flowy" to me. Perhaps just practice. Also really great paste is a key - smooth paste runs more freely, allowing the art to just flow out of my hand and mind. Thanks for your comment

  • Smooth paste definitely makes a HUGE difference! :)

  • Very nice...art

I suggest you upload the same in 'Dynamycdesi'.It is a online talent contest site for people and gives an award to the Best Talent.

  • Thanks sdhanyam. I will look into that! :) Happy New Year!
