Back when no one knew what the heck to do with a 3D platformer. great game though. Wish they would have done something with Sonic like this. Though ironically we are going back to games like this with 3d sidescrolling games. Sonic Generations, Bionic commando, Paper Mario games, we've come full circle in a way.

Notica how hard it is for him to jump on his enemies. Also why fdo you have to jump to get every single coin? It makes it unenjoifull. You need to get coins fast and easy.

That Bug is one outrageous dude! He's totally in my face! Funny how every game character in the mid-90s tried to have an "attitude." Thank goodness that bad habit has been retired.  Anyway, I always loved Bug and it was one of my favorite early Saturn titles. As a 3D platformer, it was very impressive, and the odd angles are still unique. This was an experimental time, when designers didn't yet know how to create a 2D action game in three dimensions. A solid and sadly overlooked game.

If you like Challening platformers then you have to play this along with Rayman. This game is one reason why I want a Saturn again.

You Know I have four kids, and I had this system put away for a lot of years, then 2 day ago I decided to see if it was still alive, guess what? it is.! now my kids have become Bug freaks, playing with the system again was such a nice flash back, I have it all rigged because my RCF cable is broken, tried the used game shop yesterday to see if they had one, and the guy looked at me like I was crazy, "What for A Sega Saturn?"

This was a great (and difficult!) game but I couldn't beat it all the way through - there was a part on the Swamp level that I just couldn't get past. It was a part where you had to jump from one bubble to another and I could never make the jump.

I did manage to beat it using the level select cheat and skipping to that level.

The biggest flaw of this game is definitely the lack of a save option. It's waaay too large to play through the whole thing every time you die. The levels are huge.

there wasnt a save option, but I think I recal there being a level selection menu. This might have only appeared after beating the entire game...not sure. Either way, awesome game-wish I still had it =(
