The blue within blue eyes is a nod at the sci-fi book "Dune". If a visionary film maker were to redo Dune, this song would fit in. Lots of the Police songs would. The guy that did Dune using Toto: one big FAIL for musicality.

@Imachowderhead Synchronicity concert was *the* best concert I ever attended. It was my 1st year of graduate school, 1983, and I went w. my cousin and 5 of his classmates from St. Louis U. High School (an all-boys' Catholic school). I was the only female in our group. Excellent music, excellent company. Doesn't get any better than that.

I enjoyed Paul Bowles' The Sheltering Sky, so I was compelled to listen to this song. I think it needed a longer ending. Other than that, this is just fantastic. I love the magic atmosphere it creates with such minimal flourishes. This is perfect earphone music.
