I just want to say that today is my birthday, im 36 years old. Almost as old as this song...And this song describes my life!!! EVERY LYRIC! I saw Mister Seger in the winter of 1972 in a high school auditorium in Fairfax, VA. maybe 300 attending. The band played for hours!!!! Gr8 night!

@justicefmprice This song was played at my friend Randy's funeral, it was if it was written for him, his life: a perfect family, (or so he thought) loving wife and son, great job, worked hard but worth the money, everything was just fantastic, he was 31, been married since he was 18. One day at work, he thought he pulled a muscle in his shoulder, went to hospital, found out he had a big cancer sitting on top of his heart. Went home crushed from the news, try to call his wife...

Bobs music has always provided me with the best times, also got me through some of the hardest times in my life also. I was 13 when I first heard him, now I am 51. Yes there are many great artists, each of an Elite breed, and their own rights. Bobby happens to be part of that breed.....It is to bad only 2 shows in California.....wish he would of booked a night in San Jose at the Sharks tank....I want to go to Oakland the 21st, don't think I can swing it...............Happy Holidays
