  • なんど聞いても鳥肌です。ほんとうにすばらしい!!

  • Thanks. I enjoyed the video very much. I think there must be something in the genes of people from this part of the world that makes looking through the kind of woodland you have shown, especially fascinating.

  • Mike is just...GENIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!♥

    Jack, from Brazil MIKE FAN...

  • Great Video + Great Music = Perfection! Good job, shruktus and Mike Oldfield

  • Great Job on these videos. Love them all!

  • So impressed with this. The visuals blend with the music.

  • certain kinds of music can transport you to another time and space as well as evoke feelings. Oldfields music does that especially the early stuff. You can feel and hear the outdoors and countryside in his stuff

  • Those choir vocals at the end of this, awesome.

  • Came for mikeys music and was oh so suprised at the fantastic vid wow brovo! thanks shruktus

  • May just be one of the greatest videos on youtube; fantastic! I am literally in awe right now on how wonderful that was!

  • Das ist einfach gut gemacht, alle drei Teile. Glückwunsch und Danke, shruktus!

That's simply well done, all of the three parts. Congretulations and Thanks, shruktus!

  • This part of the piece brings me to tears everytime. What Fripp 32 says, it makes you feel like talking to God. This section says so much to me.

  • Excellent piece of work..

  • Around my circle back when this came out, I seemed to be the only one into it.There was always something special about this piece, still haven't figured it out.I think I felt like it was explaining my future, and since I'm still not there yet, it remains a wonderful mystery of a timeless collection of notes.

  • @armeeuff1 i was listing to this album back in the early 80's when I was teenager. It helped me get through it. That and Omadawn.

  • @morrisman321 yes, me too a really bad time for me my dad died in 1984 , I had just turned 16 and was taking my exams , hergest ridge and ommadawn helped me survuve and get through it , they are still very emotional albums for me to this day , but classic and fantastic albums all the same. RIP dad.

  • Thank you, thank you Mr. Oldfield and Shruktus. Trust me, every time I listen to this master piece I feel like talking to God.

  • It fits so much to what I was dreaming to 25 years ago as an ado in my suburban room with the headphone on my ears. A travel in time. Thanks so much.

  • 4:00 until the end, magnificent.... I don't find words to describe it.

  • Very fine video. Nice musical choice...

  • wow...bless your heart....cool and treeeepy.

  • loved it

  • 0:11 nice idea with the slow motion there. 5:46 frightening but effective here, nice transition to 06:41.

  • Wonderful video, professional editing. The video "bind" perfectly to this fantastic music of Mike Oldfield.

  • Wonderful video! Some parts really look professional, specially the different general takes from the landscapes and the beach part at the beggining. I love how you captured and "interpreted" the light: light reflections on water, light rays through the stems and the branches... "energetic moon" passages are great as well.

Congratulations and thanks for this AMAZING work. Borkum is a beautiful place and you captured its beauty and peace along with the music in such a perfect way!

  • Wow, thanks for your nice words! Wonderful to see, that somebody actually likes my little video ;)

  • Very nice video, and very VERY nice choice of music. Hergest Ridge is one of Mike's most beautiful albums by far.
