my family had a Dalmatian till I was 16. We got her from a farm and she was liver spotted. I named her Hazel. She did this all the time! especially when she had done something bad! She passed away at age 14 while I was away at summer camp. she had recently been diagnosed with a heart murmur. I know she was happy and we loved her especially my dad she was his baby! R.I.P. Hazel, see you someday at the rainbow bridge. Valentine's day was her birthday

Jeez... the amount of people in the comments chatting on about stuff they know nothing about is ridiculous.

Whether it's about the dog's behaviour or stereotypes, or even the bloody camera quality. People need to chill out and learn a thing or two.

But from working with dogs for years (most of which had behavioural/aggression problems) I can tell you for a FACT this is not a snarl or any form of aggression.

I don't know if dogs have this, but horses and felines do something called the "Flehmen response" where they lift their upper lip where it helps expose the vomeronasal organ so they can detect pheromones better or smell certain scents, like horses, especially stallions, do it to smell if a mare is in heat or not. This could be what the dog is doing. The dog is really cute, btw :3

Tail wagging is NOT a sign of affection either. Dogs wag their tails when they are excited, happy, nervous, angry...you name it. I am not saying this dog was going to bite anybody...yet. But baring teeth is not a desirable trait and should be corrected with a good sturdy choke collar.

I've seen a video where a wolf was trained to viciously growl, snarl, and show it's teeth on command, and the owner could touch all over it's face, and push at the wolf's face (Gently of course) and it showed no real sign of aggression. The dog is obviously getting happier/excited as the owner talks in that silly voice, it doesn't look like that's a sign of a vicious animal. It's only a sign if it's followed by a growl, and the animal has been known to snap.
