You have to remember, in America hardly anybody knew who AC/DC was when this show was taped. They were probably like me - jaded, in bored anticipation of yet another gimmick band. But AC/DC left you where you couldn't believe your eyes or ears. So simple - no flashpots, etc. - but so real and raw and rhythmic. By the end of the first show I saw of them, I was hooked for life. This crowd starts out stiff then warms up. Still, there's a lot of "hair" band fans among them.
I almost bought the Midnight Special collection just for this episode, luckily someone bought and introduced meh to the Family Jewels collection before I did xD

That's like Metallica being on the same show as Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera! We saw AC/DC the following summer at Day on the Green in Oakland, Ca with Ted Nugent and Aerosmith, to this day it was one of the best shows I've ever been too.
Hell yes!!! Total balls to the walls RnR baby!! Awsome performance! Check out Albert Ingles from "Little house on the prarie" up front in all white. The chick standing next to him looks totally wasted...and she looks like she wants to take a bite of Bon`s crank at 3:58. Funny as hell!
