That was the original plan, but since it took forever for Valve to get even Episode 2 out, they clearly decided to take different path, and make Half-Life 3 with new game engine....if they had made short episode 3 with same old Source engine, it would have out long time ago.

They did intend for Episode 3 to be about less than a year after the Orange box but you know what they're like when it comes to perfecting things.

Also i doubt that they would make a new engine because then they would abandon the source engine which has been sooooooo good to them and fans.

So considering all that and how long they have been entirely quiet about Half-Life 3, I strongly believe that HL3 will be running on Source 2 game engine

Bf3 is more realistic when it comes to graphics, sound, and gameplay. It's alot slower than cod, but it's more than just running and shooting. Singelplayer games are my favs, or games like Minecraft. When you work together (mostly).
