  • beeker theater Kaay Little Rock Arkansas--Best DJ ever--Where are you

  • Greatness transcends time and style. Simply one of the best BANDS ever!

  • @coltqb18 Couldn't have said it better myself

  • One of the best Kinks songs ever. The Ramones should have done a cover version, Ray even sounds almost like Joey on this song.

  • @TennesseeMatty Definitely, that would have been amazing

  • The most underrated band ever, they belong up there with the beatles and the stones, they all became famous at the same time, they were all british, and they all had multiple hits, Plus the Kinks lasted longer that the beatles! Anyway, all im sayin is that they should have been more popular!

  • @IrishAmerican1234 As far as I'm concerned they are 100x better then the beatles!

  • @IrishAmerican1234 The Kinks got eclipsed by the marketing and mainstream allure of the Beatles. Davies was and remains far more talented and progressive than McCartney ever could have wished to be. The edgy, raw, honest sound is in total contrast to the overproduced garbage cranked out by the Fab Faux.

  • @rockhead261 I get the point that you're making, but I think of the Kinks as more as of a punk rock band than a pop band, so it's OK that they didn't have the popularity of the Beatles or Stones. Their edgy, raw sound you mentioned along with their overall attitude and views embodied punk rock before "punk" was even a term. So maybe they are the most popular and enduring punk band instead, which ain't all bad.

  • Great song from a truly GREAT band!

  • @jeffthrow6892 They are one of the best c:

  • the best kinks for sure

  • @TheCaveman123456789 For sure!

  • Great Song with a Great progression in it !! Damn Great whole album here !! and totally different from Misfits style !! 'Ya gotta be somewhere out there,...... 'Around the dialLLL ,..."

  • @GreenhouseEffectGE It's one of my favorite albums of all time :D

  • Are you listening, are you listening to me? Can you her me, can you hear me clearly? Around the Dial. One of their best in my opinion.

  • @WavyGravyTrain1 The opening is pretty original too

  • This is one of my all time favorite songs by the Kinks. Thanks for posting it ! :)

  • I'm glad you like it : )

  • Like it ? Try LOVE IT ! This song, along with many other Kinks classics, were always blasting on my stereo when I was a teen ! Thanks again for keeping "OUR MUSIC" alive !

  • is this a live album?

  • Nope, it's on the album, "Give the people what they want". There are many great songs on that album, you should check it out!

  • "Many great songs"? Huh????

The WHOLE ALBUM is solid! There isn't ONE filler song on the record -- the whole thing could have been cut into singles!

  • @quornholio You make a good point. One thing that has always baffled me about the Kinks is their inconsistent choice of singles. Who chose "Everyone's gonna be Happy" instead of the far superior "Where have all the good times gone?" Or "Plastic man", when there were dozens of better songs tucked away on albums and 'B' sides? Perhaps the Kinks had little say in the matter. But it's such a shame, because large numbers of people missed hearing great music, and the Kinks must have lost sales.

  • Great sound quality too.

  • Thanks, and I agree, this song is underrated lol

  • One of the most underrated songs of the 1980's....Thanks for posting it!

    J

  • @JOKAMAJA The whole album was superb. The radio stations unfortunately just kept on playing "Destroyer".

  • Imagination Radio sub rosa.
