  • @ryanandbranslurppiss I think all drumsets sound better then westbury

  • @triforce10155 yeh man ive been playing on it for like 8 years now i really need something new lol

  • what kind of mics are used on the kit? i love the sound that they're giving off

  • @MATTlovesDRUMS

    Audix D6 on Kick Drum

    Sennheisser E604 on Toms

    Audio Technica ATM650 on Snare

    Audio Technica AT3035 Overheads

    Audix F15 on Hi Hat

  • @TayeDrumsHD are you using the same ones for the studio maple video?

  • @TayeDrumsHD I own the same mics but they don't sound this good. Can you please let me know your signal path? Are you using a high quality recording interface? Thanks

  • @anotheruser22 No problem. All mics, except overheads, were sent through an inexpensive M-Audio Octane 8 Channel Pre Amp which was then sent through the also inexpensive M-Audio Delta 1010LT interface. The overheads were sent through two Electro Harmonix Tube-Pres then on to the Delta. The tracking room had tile floors with 20 ft ceiling. Any additional processing (compression, EQ) was done in Ableton Live. There are compression and gates on the snare and bass drum and that's it.

  • love it! especially the kick and snare!

  • Very nice!!
