@akathasamurai I had to do this recently, it's not that hard. On the yellow cap, there's a screw. If you unscrew it and take off the cap, those are the battery slots. 4 AA batteries are needed... and sometimes it just won't turn on anymore. Mine just stopped working recently. It sucks :/

you could also have options to combine these displays and commands. Imagine how challenging a game would be with a mix of binary, decimal, shapes, and pitches

I think it would be cool if there was a modern version of this that lets you specify what kind of number code you want (roman numerals, binary, hex, dots, whatever). It could also have language options. Or what about an option that has musical notes displayed, and the commands are pitches? With our current technology, a game could be created that is always stimulating and never gets boring. It could have an interface that allows people to program their own commands in.

i had 1 of these as a kid lasted 4 8 years then the battrys leaked and melted the springs in the battry holder :(. after looking loads of shops i found out that they had stopped making/selling them in the uk ages ago. then 1 Christmas i got 2 of them the blue 1 and the black 1i thought the things were gone was so happy to play it again. sadly the blue 1 broke due to internal damage but im still a happyy owner of the black brain warp. g1: 38 g2: 33
