As the first female solo on this song, Valerie Simpson demonstrates what a fantastic voice she has. She more than holds her own against the great Chaka, who has the second female solo later in the song. This is one of the best songs out of the dance/disco era of the late 1970s!

I remember seeing Ashford and Simpson sing this live at the Paramount Theater in Oakalnd so many years ago and I remember my teenage ears and eyes were AMAZED! I was never the same after the 1st time I saw them live :) I will miss you Nick and Thank You for the wonderful and positive impression you made in my life.
